My personal love affair with the arch is a permanent fixture. I grew up in Greece, and currently live in Southern Arizona…so the arch is weaved into my very existence. In the last few years however, the arch has gained popularity and is being incorporated into a myriad of design styles. Now, I would never dare call the arch a trend, but over-saturation of something good is definitely a thing. How do you all feel about arches? Still loving them? Or are you over the arch? Hope everyone has the best day!!

Refined beauty, with all the character of an old farmhouse.

This centuries-old Millbrook home keeps the details that give it soul: sloping floors, original moldings and antique glass. Chused & Co. and architect Doug Larson worked with those imperfections, adding rich colour, beautiful textiles and custom millwork while bringing in just enough modernity.

The rooms feel layered and collected, each with its own personality. And that green dining room is a beauty all on its own.

A thoughtful example of how to bring an old farmhouse into a new chapter.

A graceful archway draws you through this warm, thoughtfully layered home, linking the kitchen, dining area and living room in one easy flow.

Cream cabinetry and pale stone counters give the kitchen a quiet elegance, while exposed wood beams, wide-plank floors and woven pendants bring in natural texture. Nearby, a window-side banquette makes the most of the light; in the living room, built-in shelving and a fireplace create a cozy focal point. Beautifully composed by @rachelmaddeninteriors, with more of this home still to come. 🤌🏼

Happy Friday!

A thoughtful mix of materials gives this Michigan kitchen its depth and character. Deep, richly toned cabinetry meets dramatic veined stone, while the sculptural plaster hood softens the lines. Fluted wood on the island, warm brass details, a wood ceiling, and a touch of patterned wallpaper bring another layer of texture to the room.

Happy Wednesday!

Amber Lewis has a way of making a home feel polished yet completely at ease. Warm wood, soft stone, natural textures, and timeworn details give these rooms a sense of depth, while the muted palette keeps everything calm and inviting. From the patterned tile and tailored upholstery to the beautiful beams and collected accents, each space feels layered, livable, and unmistakably hers.

And congratulations to @amberinteriors on her beautiful new book! Looking forward to checking it out.

Autumn in the Hamptons has a charm all its own. Golden ginkgo leaves glow above quiet streets, while maples turn the historic villages into a tapestry of russet, amber, and soft gold. Pumpkins and bright mums gather outside farm stands, shops, and shingled cottages, adding a welcoming touch of color to the season.

From Sag Harbor’s historic Captain’s House and Custom House Museum to the tree-lined streets of East Hampton, each scene feels steeped in character. The changing light, timeless architecture, and simple details of fall make these villages especially beautiful this time of year.

A collection of autumn favorites from Amagansett, Sag Harbor, and East Hampton.

Happy Monday!

Layered with history and personality. A carved wooden screen, antique furnishings, gilded artwork, and a crystal chandelier bring old-world character, while botanical wallpaper and patterned bedding add a playful touch. Rich wood tones and soft, earthy colours keep it all feeling warm and lived in—a home with so many details to linger over.
