As a working photographer, my job is not just to see, but to listen deeply.

When @chiefcleopatra needed photography for a new release, I knew the images should lean into and take inspiration from her album. As we planned, I asked if I could listen to her single, knowing I’d receive direction from her art and be able to express that through mine.
I built the moodboard. She approved wholeheartedly, giving us a clear theme to guide the photo session.

Thank you for working with me, Cleo!

When I say, this theme put me to WORK! Child I pricked every single finger hand sewing and putting these two 18th century rococo dresses and wigs together. BUT I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN! What a night we had!

What an enormous feat! I spent a few allnighters meticulously handcrafting this entire look and I'm very proud of myself for pulling it off in such a short amount of time. Thank you @diamonddioratx and @msgirl6_ for choosing such a great theme for this year's Majestic Ball y'all really ate with that🍰🍽️!!! Thank you @pinkpoison.26 for this beautiful bedazzled full set💅🏾! And last certainly not least thank you @adamonthescenee for archiving such a beautiful moment for our community #rococo #pride🌈 #atxmua #costumedesigner #bridgerton taken in Paramount Theatre by @vivistep
