CGI for brands, realestate, architects and interior designers.

Towers are mostly repetition, so the interest has to come from the sky and the base. Delivered in 4K for print and hoarding. #residentialdevelopment #exteriorcgi #archviz #propertymarketing by @vizarchs
Conqueror Tower at the moment the offices come on. One sun, one HDRI, no composite skies, the glass is doing the work. #archviz #exteriorcgi #londonarchitecture #renderlab #vizarchs by @vizarchs
A radiator shoot usually means building a room first. Someone panels a wall, paints it, lays a floor and dresses the set before a single photo is taken. In CGI the room is built once. This sage panelled room, its timber floor, the lamp and the side table are all modelled in 3D. The radiator then changes colour in the same spot, from anthracite to traffic white to white aluminium. The second room does the same with a tall column radiator against a burnt orange wall. How many room sets did your last catalogue need? Tell us below. The opening clip of the decorator on set is AI video. Everything after it is our CGI. #productrendering #3drendering #radiator #productdesign #cgi by @vizarchs
The colour on screen isn't always the one in the box. When a product photo shows a different shade, the customer feels misled and the product often goes back. Studio lighting, camera settings and retouching all shift a colour a little. Each step makes the picture nicer, but it can move it away from the real fabric. In CGI, the material is set from the RAL or NCS code and a sample or scan of the fabric, so the colour starts from the real specification and not from an edit. Have you had a product sent back for its colour? Tell us below. Slides 1 to 3 are AI images, used to show the problem. Slide 4 is our CGI of a lounge with camel and blue cushions on the sofa. #productphotography #ecommerce #productcgi #3drendering #homeware by @vizarchs
A bedroom in the colours of this autumn. This is our render of a principal bedroom with a brown leather bed, a slatted timber wall, dark timber wall boards and a double ring pendant, lit by daylight from the window. The second camera looks at the same room from the other side. The pendant, the leather headboard and the side table with its red box sit exactly where they were, because both views come from one 3D scene. The last slide is a close crop of the first view. Warm browns and dark wood are big in interiors this autumn. Which would you use in a bedroom? Tell us below. All three slides are our CGI. No AI images in this post. #interiorcgi #bedroomdesign #interiordesign #archviz #autumninteriors by @vizarchs
Natural materials are big in bathrooms this autumn, and they only work if they still look real up close. This is our render of the second bathroom in Apartment C. A grey stone bath sits on a bed of pebbles, and the room opens onto the garden in daylight. The second camera moves in on the same room, over the two stone basins on the dark counter and the textured feature wall lit warm from below. Which of these materials would you choose for your own bathroom? Tell us below. #bathroomdesign #interiordesign #naturalmaterials #3drendering #archviz by @vizarchs
A lighting brand needs two kinds of shot for every product. The first slide is our render of a slim double-bar LED pendant on a plain studio backdrop, which is the clean shot for a catalogue or product page. The second shows the same pendant hanging in a concrete room, next to a recessed square panel, a frame pendant and a round downlight from the same range. The two offset light bars and the slim aluminium body match in both, because both renders use the same 3D model of the light. Which shot sells your lights better? Tell us below. All three slides are our CGI. No AI images in this post. #lightingdesign #productcgi #3drendering #productvisualisation #cgi by @vizarchs
Planning a product launch? Here is what to send a CGI studio before the first render. 1. The CAD drawings with every dimension, because we build the 3D model from them. 2. Photos of a real sample from a few angles, so small details like the clip come out right. 3. The finish codes for every colour, such as RAL or NCS numbers. 4. Photos or samples of each fabric and material, so the texture is right. 5. A list of every colour and finish you sell. 6. Where the images will go, such as your website, Amazon or print. When these arrive with the brief, the first renders come back closer to right and there is less to fix later. Save this for your next launch, or send it to whoever writes your briefs. Slides 1 to 3 are AI images, used to show the idea. On slide 4, the top left image is our CGI of a folding cup and the other three are AI images of it in use. #productcgi #productlaunch #3drendering #productvisualisation #furnituredesign by @vizarchs
The lighting is the design in this basement pool. This is our render of a basement pool with no daylight at all. The light comes from fibre-optic stars in the ceiling, warm wall lights and LED strips beside the stone wall panels. The second camera looks back from the other end towards the gym behind the glass. The star ceiling, the black marble spa pool and the water spouts sit in the same place in both views, because they come from one 3D scene. Where would you have put the light in this room? Tell us below. All three slides are our CGI. No AI images in this post. #interiorcgi #indoorpool #lightingdesign #archviz #interiordesign by @vizarchs
Does a new colour mean a new photo shoot? These are our renders of one table in two finishes. The teal version is shown from above, so you can see the birch ply edges, the six round cable ports and the power socket on the end panel. The red version is shown straight on from a second camera. The pen pot and the open book sit at the same end of the top in both, and the ply edges and cable ports match. Once a product is modelled in 3D, a new finish is a change of material on the same model. The shape and the details stay exactly as they were. How many finishes does your best seller come in? Tell us below. All four slides are our CGI. No AI images in this post. #productcgi #furnituredesign #3drendering #productvisualisation #cgi by @vizarchs
Sharp from across the room. Still sharp up close. This is our CGI of a second bedroom in daylight. Timber plank ceiling, a board-marked concrete wall, rope-hung cage pendants and a hanging chair by the glass. Slide 2 is a second camera in the same scene, from the bed. Slide 3 is a close crop of the first view. The pendants, the slatted timber wall and the fringe on the throw all hold up when you get close. How close does your client look? A brochure page, or a phone screen pinched to zoom? Tell us below. All three slides are our CGI. No AI images in this post. #interiordesign #interiorcgi #3drendering #interiorvisualisation #bedroomdesign by @vizarchs
Same? Swipe and check. This is our CGI of a black outdoor kitchen on a timber deck. Hooded gas grill, glass-door drinks fridge, sink at the far end. The first camera sits front on in early evening light. The second sits in the same 3D scene, just moved round to the side. The grill, the doors and the steel edges match exactly. Only the styling on the worktop changed. Once a product's modelled, a new angle is a new camera. Nothing about the product shifts. How many angles did your last launch use? Tell us below. All four slides are our CGI. No AI images in this post. #productcgi #outdoorkitchen #3drendering #productvisualisation #cgi by @vizarchs
