Built From Scratch: A 3D Counter Stool Study 🎨

by @vizme.studio

Most renders you see online start with someone else's 3D model β€” pulled from a library, dropped into a scene. This one didn't.

This is the Nordic Oak Counter Stool, modeled entirely in-house β€” the kind of piece we build when a project calls for furniture that doesn't exist yet.

A render is only as convincing as the geometry underneath it β€” here's what that looks like before the finish goes on.

You can see it in the grey, untextured passes next to the final shots β€” that's the raw model, before any material touches it. Real proportions, joints that sit the way actual joinery would. The finish is the last five percent β€” the structure underneath is what actually took the work.

AI can already generate a rough 3D mesh from an image or a prompt. What it can't do is give you a professional model β€” the accurate proportions, the clean structure, the production-ready build a real project actually needs. That's why modeling is still its own craft, separate from rendering.

What went into building this stool:

πŸ“ Modeled from a blank mesh, no shortcuts
🎨 Oak grain and linen weave, built for close-up realism
πŸ’Ž Real-world scale, no guesswork
πŸ›‹οΈ Easy to reshape, recolor, or rebuild
πŸ–₯️ Works across any render engine or pipeline
✨ The same process behind our custom pieces

Where's the line between a picture of furniture and a real 3D object? Can you build with it, or only look at it?

City Quiet: An Urban Apartment Interior ✨

by @vizme.studio

We designed and visualized this concept for an open-plan city apartment β€” one continuous space where the kitchen, dining table, and living room share the same room instead of fighting for it.

The dark matte kitchen sits against a veined marble backsplash, with warm wood cabinetry breaking up the grey. Floor-to-ceiling glass keeps the skyline in view from the sofa. A rounded boucle armchair does most of the textural work in the room, next to a low black coffee table on a stone base. Nothing here is decoration for its own sake β€” every material was chosen to hold up next to the next one.

What this study captures:
πŸ–€ Dark cabinetry against veined marble, for a kitchen wall that reads as one surface
🎨 Wood-toned accents warming up the grey palette overhead
πŸ™οΈ Floor-to-ceiling glass keeping the city part of the room, not separate from it
πŸ›‹οΈ A boucle armchair and modular sofa carrying the room's only real texture
⬛ A waterfall coffee table on a stone base, anchoring the seating area
🍽️ A fluted dining table acting as the visual bridge between kitchen and living space

How much can one open room hold before it stops feeling like a home? We think it's less about square footage and more about which materials are allowed to repeat.

Sunlit Stone: A Southern California Residential Concept β˜€οΈ
by @vizme.studio

We visualized this three-unit residential building as a concept for Southern California - a Mediterranean, semi-arid climate: dry heat, strong direct sun, very little humidity, and noticeably hotter once you move inland from the coast.

The brief was straightforward: show how the building actually reads in that light - flat, bright midday sun, not a staged golden hour a buyer will never see it in.

Fieldstone at the entries stays cool to the eye even in full light. The stucco reads warm rather than flat - sand and clay tones instead of white - so it holds up under direct sun instead of blowing out in the render.

Inside this project:
🎨 Full 3D build of a three-unit residential structure, ground up
β˜€οΈ Daylight study built for a dry, high-sun Southern California climate
🏰 Fieldstone and stucco material work at true scale and texture
🌳 Landscaping placed to read as an existing, lived-in street
πŸšͺ Arched stone entries designed as the focal point of each unit
πŸ“ Corner view and a close frontal fragment, each framing the entries differently

What keeps a stucco building from looking flat under sun this dry and intense? For us, it starts with materials that hold color under bright light, not just shapes.

Stone & Light: A Day-to-Dusk Residential Study ✨
by @vizme.studio

The same house. Two different stories.

We visualized this English manor exterior at two moments β€” midday sun cutting across the stone facade, and dusk, when long shadows reshape the volume and warm light begins to spill through the windows. What changes isn't the architecture. It's everything you feel about it.

This is a 3D study in how light writes the story of a building.

Natural stone, arched entry, steep gabled rooflines, dormer windows set against pine β€” each of these elements behaves differently depending on the hour. Stone catches noon light as texture. At golden hour, it becomes weight and warmth. The arched entrance shifts from architectural anchor to a frame around something alive inside. That's not a lighting trick. That's design doing its job.

What this study captures:
🎨 Full architectural 3D build β€” stone coursing, stucco, period detailing
🏠 Dual lighting scenario: midday clarity vs golden-hour atmosphere
πŸ’‘ Interior lights at dusk β€” the moment a house starts to feel inhabited
πŸ“ Symmetrical composition with arched focal entry
🌲 Pine forest context β€” depth, scale, natural framing
πŸ’Ž Material study: stone texture, roof shingles, arched glazing behavior in light

One question we leave open:
"At what hour does architecture feel most alive β€” when the sun reveals every detail, or when the lights come on inside?"

We're a small studio. Every project like this gets our full attention β€” that's not a promise, that's just how we work.

Where Winter Yields to Spring: A Mountain Hotel Visualization β„οΈπŸŒΏ
by @vizme.studio

This is where one season breathes out, and another breathes in.

A hotel bedroom set high in the mountains β€” framed by a dramatic skylight and a forest that changes with every passing month. Same room. Same peaks outside. Two entirely different worlds within.

This is a 3D portrait of a season turning.

Each element was considered with intention: deep crimson linens giving way to warm olive tones, snow-laden pines dissolving into summer green, the quiet glow of holiday warmth melting into soft morning daylight. These aren't just seasonal switches. They're the language of interior design that speaks to how a space holds memory β€” and renewal.

What this visualization captures:
🎨 Full 3D interior build with complete seasonal restyling
❄️ Winter atmosphere β€” snowy mountain forest, Christmas tree, holiday warmth
🌿 Spring transformation β€” green landscape, fresh palette, open daylight
πŸ’‘ Skylight as architectural heart β€” framing every season with natural light
πŸ›οΈ Textile, material & color transitions across both scenes
🎬 Seamless animation connecting winter to spring in one story

This project came from a simple question:
"How does the same mountain room feel when the seasons shift?"

The answer: the peaks stay. The light changes. And the space tells a completely different story β€” without moving a single wall.

Spring is here. Thank you for following our journey through every season. May this new chapter bring fresh light, inspiring projects, and spaces worth remembering. 🌿✨

The Last Chapter of Winter: An Interior Design Visualization ❄️
by @vizme.studio

This is where interior design meets the quiet poetry of winter.

Two reading corners. Two perspectives on the same feeling β€” the warmth of a good book while the world outside sleeps under snow. A visualization celebrating the art of spaces designed for stillness.

This is more than a render. This is a 3D love letter to winter's final days.

Every detail was carefully composed to capture one emotion: the gentle comfort of slowing down before the season turns. The snow-laden pines framed by generous windows. The warmth of natural wood and textured plaster. The soft glow of ambient light against leather and wool β€” these aren't decorative choices. They're the language of interior design that speaks to the soul.

What makes this interior exclusive:
🎨 Advanced 3D modeling & texturing
❄️ Photorealistic winter landscape through floor-to-ceiling glass
πŸ“– Human presence that brings the space to life
✨ Atmospheric lighting balancing warmth and natural daylight
πŸͺ‘ Material storytelling β€” wood, leather, plaster, wool
πŸ›‹οΈ Interior composition designed for comfort and contemplation

This visualization answers a simple question:
"What does it feel like to read the last pages of winter?"

The answer: interior design that wraps you in warmth while the world outside turns white β€” a space where every moment is worth savoring.

Winter is almost over. But before it goes, we wanted to hold onto this feeling β€” the quiet joy of a cozy afternoon, a favorite book, and snow outside the window. Thank you for being part of our journey. ❄️❀️

Meet Mike β€” our co-founder, architectural lead, and the driving force behind VIZ-ME design direction.

πŸ‘‹Hello! My name is Mike Khokhon, and I’m the co-founder of VIZ-ME.

At VIZ-ME, I’m involved in project management, quality control, and the development of our architectural direction. My professional journey began with education and hands-on practice as a private architect. Over time, my passion for architecture and BIM design naturally led to creating our studio together with my friend Roman.

Our architectural approach at VIZ-ME is closely connected to visualization. We design spaces with a clear understanding of how they should look, feel, and function in real life. This structured approach helps us make more precise, higher-quality, and more effective decisions β€” and stay prepared for challenges when working with demanding clients.

I strongly believe that success is built by the team. We work with motivated, highly skilled specialists, and our family-based studio model ensures trust, transparency, and consistently high quality at every stage.

What inspires me most is creating spaces and scenarios where people feel comfortable and enjoy the design every day. Our goal is to help clients shape their own individual architecture of happiness.
