Meet V.J., one author behind TAC:

I have been crafting worlds since before the real one made much sense. From vampires, mermaids, elves, and everything that lurks in between, fantasy in all its forms has always made me feel at home. I write stories built to consume you completely, filled with deep lore, heartbreaking characters, and twists that make you hold the edge of your seat.

Every book is a door.

Every door leads somewhere you have never been.

If you are looking for your next favorite author, you just found her. ❤️

Aloha from J.M. Freeman, one of the authors behind The Adaredda Chronicles

If daydreaming were an Olympic sport, I'd have a medal by now. Since it isn't, I learned to take the stories living rent-free in my head and turn them into ones you can actually hold in your hands. Storytelling isn't something I had to learn so much as something I've always done. It's just how my mind works.

My favorite stories are dark and gritty, with a monster twist. Sometimes the monster is physical, something with teeth lurking in the shadows. Sometimes it's psychological, the kind that follows you home and sits quietly in the back of your mind. Either way, I believe a good monster deserves a world as deep and rich as it is: one with its own history, its own rules, and its own secrets waiting to be dug up.

Those are the worlds I love most, the ones you can step into, grow alongside, and theorize about with fellow readers long after the final page. I want you to get lost in them, to argue about them, to notice the small details and wonder what they mean.

So with every story I write and every world I build, my hope is that you'll be pulled into the madness of my mind. It's a little twisted in here, but there's always room for one more.

A princess left with barely a kingdom intact, a savior who has the answers. An arranged marriage that would become a safety for her... or would it?

How many of you guys love an arranged marriage trope? Let me know!

A kingdom built in secret, a crown earned in blood. Which side of the story will they end out on? The winning side, or six feet below?

Welcome to the Kingdom of Adaredda. Where things lurk in the dark and secrets are more profound than blood.

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled Doorkeepers, I wouldn't want you to miss a thing.

October has decided to grace us with her presence again this year! 🧡

Honestly, since moving to WA state, I have fallen in love with fall. I truly think this is my favorite season. It just feels amazing to see the trees change, to feel the weather cool off, and all the pumpkins!

10/10 love it!
