Today, I walked across this stage with a heart overflowing with gratitude, pride, and silent tears of joy. This moment is more than a ceremony — it is the celebration of every sacrifice, every late night, every challenge that tried to break me, and every prayer that carried me through especially from my Mom. My convocation isn’t just a milestone; it is a reminder that nothing is impossible when God’s grace meets determination. Cause it was indeed a tough ride.

I am grateful for this journey that shaped me, the lessons that strengthened me, and the people who supported me even not withstanding tribalism. To everyone who believed in me, encouraged me, and stood by me too numerous to mention this achievement is yours as much as it is mine.

Today, I honour my growth. I honour the best version of myself that refused to give up, even when the road felt long. I honour the dreams that kept me going and the future that now feels brighter than ever. This is the beginning of a new chapter — one filled with courage, purpose, and even bigger dreams.

“The rain came down, but the movement continued.”

History will remember the man, but for those of us who stood behind the lens, documenting the moments between headlines, what strengthens is the level of interactive storytelling.

This era will be one of greatest system transitions, defining and deeply digitalizations.

As the official documentary photographer to the Vice-Chancellor of Rivers State University @zebobipi during this administration, I bore witness to an extensive digital presence.
Today, I honour his place in our University.

There is always another side to every story, another angle to every moment, and another beauty waiting to be discovered. Through the reflection of water, an ordinary scene transforms into something unexpected — almost like reality telling its story upside down. This frame is a reminder that photography is not always about what is directly in front of the lens; sometimes, it is about seeing beyond what the eyes naturally notice.

When perspective changes, the story changes with it.

When he speaks, he speaks the mind of the people, it’s the reason he’s nick named “PIZO” another beautiful thing about him too is that as much as he speaks, he is also a good listener.

@zebobipi was celebrated all way round by Banks,Clubs and even different Associations on his Birthday, 29th July,2026 at the University Senate and Staff Club!

Also, The University Staff Club Celebrates their DPP(Distinguished Past President) Prof Isaac Zeb-obipi, whom is well loved and respected in the Club!

The Staff Club RSU, made donations of the total sum of Three Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira(3,500,000) with another total Amount of One Hundred Pounds(£100) which was in cash gifted to the Vice-Chancellor as a Birthday gift.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Isaac Zeb-Obipi considered the University insecurity dispute then re-donated the cash gift to the University Chief Security Officer(CSO) in order to provide more security materials and equipments for the safeguarding of the University Premises.

The VC is indeed a Wonderful Man!❤️
