It is with the heaviest heart I’ve ever had to hold that I have to announce I had to put my best friend down last night. It happened so fast and suddenly I’m still left feeling like I didn’t get to say a proper goodbye. He was sick for a long time, but I didn’t realize how sick he was until looking back at old photos and videos. Unfortunately he developed something called Diabetic Ketoacidosis that was fatal and I had no other choice. He was such a special and loving boy; I’ve had him since I was 20 years old. Hes lived in every home I’ve ever lived in with me. He’s seen me through addictions and sobrieties. He’s seen me through so fucking much and I just don’t know who I am without him right now. He saved my life multiple times and I will forever be grateful for him, his love, and the love others showed him. He wasn’t perfect, but he was the perfect companion for me. All I feel is this hole in my heart where he should be. I’ve never had to do this before and I just feel so incredibly sad. Thank you for loving me, Niko. I’m so sorry. by @vl0ko
