₊☁︎✧°☾ VL++ ☽°✧☁︎₊ It's been a while, but our resident hyper techno slutcore duo @vlplusplus are back. Closing the night and ready to let loose with their signature genre-mashing chaos to get you all kinetically bopping. Expect the unexpected, this is not one to be missed. NEW START TIME 10pm! Come down early for happy hour at @vespersclub this Saturday, get your tix in bio ahead of the day for cheaper than OTD! 2 more sleeps we can't wait xx by @vlplusplus
It's October! And for this month’s @voices_radio show to celebrate @lewisleafs return to London we're doing a VL++ special! @vlplusplus Usually found playing speedy euphoric silliness to close @kinesis_ldn parties, this time we're exploring a slower moodier and groovier side of our collections, playing some recent newly found electro, bass, breaks, and techno tracks, but it wouldn’t be VL++ without a little craziness here and there :] Tune in tomorrow 6am, or find the mix on soundcloud via our bios after. Swipe for behind-the-scenes footage, tracklist, and a little bonus clip of some messing around 🍭 save the date 22nd Nov?? 👀 by @vlplusplus
BACK ONCE AGAIN: VL++ ! @vlplusplus If you’ve been to Kinesis before, you know the drill. Slamming silliness sprinkled with surprises 🍭🪄 We’re super excited to send off the end of Summer in style at @colourfactorylondon ! Get your tix and come thru this Sunday, link in bio. Swipe for clips. Bonus beautiful boy @szoryn in the middle 😘 by @vlplusplus
Set from the latest @kinesis_ldn now online for you! We had lots of fun with this one, trying to carry the energy through from @inda_flo ‘s polyrhythmic bass heaters to @arfb0y ‘s hectic breaks. A journey from 150-180bpm, then down, then back up again, with twists and turns alongside the usual bounce, silliness spinning into moments of added intensity, depth, and (hopefully for someone) euphoria 🔮 Swipe for some of our fave moments, and check link in usual. Had some mixer difficulties first 10 mins but worked through and got into our rhythm before long! We’re really enjoying playing together atm, feels like we’re hitting our cross-genre stride - excited to play more in the coming months! 🍭 Till next time on channel VL++ :] by @vlplusplus
We’re soooo excited to be playing together again tomorrow night!!! @kinesis_ldn take 3, at @dalstonden with the most excellent @imanwithoutorgans @inda_flo & @arfb0y + the best crowd, naturally 😘 L got flu last time and V had to play alone, so this set is long overdue! Swipe right for some other iconic pairings witnessed recently - which energy do u want us to bring?? P.s. let us know if u want some of those shiny shiny stickers designed by the incredible @arsissist (who also did the beaut poster). And see bio for tickets! by @vlplusplus
Just digging back through the recording of our set at @planetwaxuk for @nope.rsona a couple of weeks ago, getting hyped for @kinesis_ldn on Saturday! Pls enjoy a few choice clips here, link to full video in the usual place. We were going pretty hard hehe… Hopefully see you on Saturday, yes? Ticket link in bio! We have lots of treats in store 😈😈 We’ll also be at @teabreak.collective tomorrow and @ulnaparti on Sunday, but on the dancefloor rather than behind the decks. Big weekend ahead, come and say hi!! by @vlplusplus
LAST BUT NOT LEAST... @vlplusplus !! "VL++ return for another closing set of speedy transcendence and silliness, casting new dancefloor forms from slabs of techno and trance, breaks and bass - and plenty of pop edits. Expect the signature ‘techno slut core’ sound (independent reviewers), familiar from recent @nope.rsona nights as well as the last Kinesis, but with an even heavier dose of the euphoric as they continue on their quest for elixirs of eternal dancefloor bliss." Join us @unit.58 this Saturday and embark on a journey of musical alchemy! Throughout the night our talented artists will be fusing genres from across the techno, trance, bass music, and hardcore spheres, operating at the boundary of playful and serious. Tix in bio, swipe for clips! ++ by @vlplusplus
[UPDATE: we don’t actually know when the show is going to be broadcast, apparently was not last night…biiiit of a misunderstanding. But has been recorded at least. Will lyk!] Racing along on the train of life, we pause to inform you that the @kinesis_ldn radio show premieres on @brixtonradiolive TONIGHT from midnight till 2am!! Hosted by us for now, but with lots of friends and guests to come in future months. Pls listen in if you have 🦉 tendencies and wish for some energy to keep you going into the wee hours. For everyone else, we will post the recording in our bio asap. We are not entirely sure what we will play partly bc Lewis had his laptop stolen but probably it will be 50% 140-150 bops and 50% 160-180 chaos :] ALSO heads up we are playing @nope.rsona at @planetwaxuk on friday, will be on 12:45-1:30, most likely sticking to the high speed chaos end of the spectrum. Entry is free so come say hi and flail some limbs 🩰 That’s all for now see you soon yay! ++ by @vlplusplus
Spring is here and we are coming out to play!! Starting with @nopersona open decks in @fourquartersbar dungeon last month, where we met some of the loveliest people & subjected them to some of our nastiest tracks 😈 😈 The 10/10 no persona team captured it ALL on a hidden go-pro, so sharing some clips here. Full mix on our soundcloud - give it a listen! Is only a short one. Link in the usual place :] ++ by @vlplusplus
We’re still absolutely buzzing from Saturday, honestly it feels like a dream 🖤 💜 Always scary to put on your first night and we really did not expect to sell out @avaloncafebermondsey or for the energy on the dancefloor to be that good?!?! Thank you soooo much to everyone who came — you all brought the best vibes and dance moves, it was such a friendly group and we’re super excited to see where this community grows. And a massive thank you to the all DJs on the night: @szoryn @florencebarbour @_djfunghoul_ @aquinnnnnnnn - you guys smashed it, providing the perfect soundtrack and energy throughout. Really grateful to Avalon Cafe for trusting us to do this, you have such a wicked space! And thank you to Neven and @rhianna_adesuwa and all the others who helped us organise, set up and make it all happen! Stay tuned for the next one (follow @kinesis_ldn for info plus more photos hehe) and other exciting plans in the works!! Vas & Lewis :] ++ by @vlplusplus
Get the 27th Jan in your diaries for Kinesis!! A night of high tempos to move your body in all directions; spanning the bouncy and bopping, the dreamy and driving, the enchanting and euphoric, the silly and the strange. 8pm till 2am @avaloncafebermondsey - ticket link in bio! We’ve been thinking about running a night for aaaaaages, so are super hyped it’s finally happening! So so excited to be on a dance floor with you all :] ++++++++ Community is important to us and so we’ll be starting the event with 40mins of open decks. DM us if you’d like to play! The wonderful DJs: @_djfunghoul_ @florencebarbour @szoryn Wicked artwork by @arsissist None of this would be happening without @rhianna_adesuwa and Nevents himself, absolute dream team, so much love to both 💜 by @vlplusplus
