Immersion into Beauty
40 × 40 cm · Oil on canvas

We are constantly shown what beauty is supposed to be.
And somewhere between comparison and expectation, it becomes easy to lose ourselves.

This painting is about going deeper — into self-love, acceptance, and the quiet feeling of being truly yourself.

Original available.
DM for details.

This is far from my first publication — but this one feels special. 🤍

There is something about this particular feature in TOSEE Magazine that I truly love — the way my works were selected by the curators, and how beautifully the entire spread came together.

And somehow, this issue has already had a little life of its own with me — soaking up the Spanish sun at Bohemia Suites in Gran Canaria, spending an art-filled night at Kunstnacht Ravensburg, and catching the breeze of the Bodensee in Lindau.

Thank you, TOSEE, for giving my work such a beautiful space. ✨

“Immersion into Beauty”

Immersion II

50 × 80 cm
Oil on canvas

Beauty does not always ask to be seen.
Sometimes, it asks us to slow down.

To stop searching.
To stop comparing.
To simply be.

We don’t need to become
more beautiful,
more perfect,
more like someone else.

Sometimes we only need
to return to ourselves.

To what feels true.
To the quiet beauty
that was always there.

Maybe this is what immersion means —
to go deep enough
to find yourself again.

Series:
“Immersion into Beauty”

40 × 40 cm
Oil on canvas

We are shown what beauty is supposed to be
And we learn to see ourselves through these images —
to compare
to doubt
to change

It becomes a quiet current
where it’s easy to lose yourself

But beauty never stays the same
It shifts
It softens
It transforms

And maybe the most important thing
is not to hold onto it
but to go deeper

Into self-love
Into acceptance
Into the warmth of those close to us

Not to drift with expectations
but to pause
and feel your true self

A woman with wonderful taste, timeless elegance and a genuine appreciation for art.

It was such a pleasure to see my paintings in her hands — and I’m grateful that she agreed to become part of these beautiful photographs. taken in Rome, Italy by @vm.veramina.art

Jess

Oil on canvas, 40 × 40 cm

The original photograph already held everything that drew me in: quiet strength, grace, and a captivating gaze. As the painting unfolded, I felt compelled to weave red spider lilies into the composition, allowing the image to become not only a portrait, but also a reflection of my own emotions and symbolism.

This is the freedom I cherish in painting—to honor what inspires me while giving it a new life through my own vision.

With gratitude to everyone whose talent and presence inspired this work.
