One year with Bitsy and Venus! 🎉

Bits is our little cotton ball with not a lot of thoughts, but a lot of sass. Veens is our strong, cunning girl who can’t be taken seriously because of her silly meow and lack of hunting skills. They’re the perfect pair of sisters and we’re excited for many more years with them!

Historically, all my cats have found me via the Cat Distribution System™️ so being able to adopt from a proper rescue and foster homes felt like a luxury experience. Thank you to @purrgatorycatrescue, their fosters and volunteers for doing such a good job with these two. by @vm_ingram

10 years ago @merbearthecarebear and I walked across the stage at Duke Hall. Last month, I got to celebrate her becoming a mother. We did it Mer, we are gainfully employed homeowners with families AND a BFA!

I’m so glad I get to be Saajan’s mom’s college friend he calls an aunt even though we’re not blood related. 💜💛 by @vm_ingram

Venus and Bits: the greatest buddy cop movie you’ve never heard of.

Yeah, we got another kitten. Bitsy was developing single kitten syndrome and Marble was refusing to parent (fair enough, she had a lot going on). @purrgatorycatrescue got us set up with sweet Venus (formerly Malarkey). Her and Bits are already the best of friends, and she’s already taken on the position of “TV watching buddy” vacated by Marble.

Also, her full name is “Venus in Purs” but make no mistake, she’s named after the Lady Gaga song. 💫 by @vm_ingram
