I did this for a monthly acrylic challenge on WetCanvas for painting icy drinks. It’s from a restaurant we went to that served water in various kinds of wine glasses and uses wine bottles for water jugs.
It’s in a watercolor sketchbook 9x12 inches.

This beautiful painted lady butterfly despite missing half a wing fought with a brown belted bumble bee over this coneflower over and over again. It was pretty amusing to watch. The butterfly kept kicking up pollen at the bee.

Good morning from Illinois! There was a massive boom of lightning and thunder right after I took this photo while the dogs were doing their morning thing. Tallie didn’t care but Piper is so attached I can’t even go to the bathroom without her!

Apple Memories cracks me up. It made this video for me of a bodacious crochet lady I made but it always adds one photo that has no context into a video.
Can you spot the one thing that’s not like the others? 😁

Jurassic Park is one of my favourite movies. Sam Neill’s Instagram was charming and funny and my dinosaurs and I will miss him very much.

Driving on the 280 bridge over the Mississippi River today and it was raining on the Illinois side and when we drove back, it was reversed and raining on the Iowa side.

Our flowers are flowering! Went a little petunia crazy this year. We have black ones, whites ones, pink ones, purple ones white with black centers and white with pink centers. We also have chamomile and flax and columbines, poppies and tansy and a yellow lab and a green frog and a Hackberry Emperor butterfly and a wet westie who is clean for once in her life.
