My OG. My rider. My dawg. To the man who married my grandma and held me down since 2001. To the man who taught me how to ride a lawnmower. To the man who made me pull my pants up and read words in the dictionary. To the man who taught me how to fix busted water pipes. To the man who made me patch up holes in a wall from wrestling with Channing. To the man who told me that I need to learn a trade. To the man that told me “Son, always keep a woman on the inside of the sidewalk”. To the man who taught me how to shoot gun. To the man who consigned on my first car. To the man who never missed a birthday, a graduation, or any moment for that matter… THANK YOU. You showed me endless love and guidance throughout my years of knowing you. You gave me alot of knowledge to keep me from making many mistakes. I’m so glad that our lives went from you making me do military workouts because I got in trouble in school to me recording videos of us joking and sharing them for people to laugh and enjoy the moments with us. I watched you build sheds, porches, remodel bathrooms, fix cars, fix generators, install water systems, etc. I witnessed much of your greatness, love, and guidance over the past 23 years. What I wasn’t prepared to witness, was watching you depart. It’s so crazy because it was just on my mind to come hang with you. So I did. Packed my bag and came to spend the night. Ironically you were just getting out of the hospital so it was gonna be your first night back home. I’m glad we got to laugh and cut up one last time dawg. You gave me a few more memories to live with. Had I known that you were gonna leave us that night, I would’ve stayed up longer just to ask you “How do I get past this? What’s next?” But unfortunately that’s not how life works. I don’t know how I’ll manage with the trauma of what happened that night, but I’ll figure it out, I always do. I know you’re finally happy that the fight is over. Thank you, I’m truly grateful for your existence and everything you did to shape me into the man I am today. I’ll hold it down for grandma and make sure she is straight. Get your rest now big dawg, you’ve done enough work down here. -Your “lil grandson” 🕊️ by @vnhogn

| Lobster Rolls Anyone? I made these with Maine Lobster claw and knuckle meat. It was sautéed and tossed in a cajun, garlic, and truffle aioli. Of course the buns are brioche. Topped off with chives and black caviar. Now the real question is, how many can you take on?👀

| Today, I was experimenting and made Deep Fried, Crispy Seafood Lasagna! The inside is filled with Shrimp, Crab, Scallops, Crawfish, Spinach, and a Cajun Cream sauce. All wrapped inside of lasagna pasta, breaded and fried until crispy. It’s accompanied by a truffle marinara sauce. They came out pretty big so they can serve as either a shared appetizer or the main dinner course. This one is definitely worth a try! 😮‍💨
