Today’s post is a little slower 🤎 Come with me to visit the venue for our 2-year anniversary with Sammy Lutaya @sammy_lutaya — a Kenyan painter and jewellery artist whose work we’re hoping to showcase on October 24th. This is just part 1.

One of the things I want to do more through The African Society is use the platform we’ve built to give visibility to the talent already within our community.

Stick till the end to get know a little bit more of what we have in store for you all 🫶🏾 the moment when Sammy went “How can I exhibit my work here one day?” 🥺😩😩

This is exactly why we’re building The African Society. 🥹

Hope to see you all there! taken in Palau Dalmases Art Gallery by @vns.krnj

THE EVENT PLAYBOOK — EP. 01
So you want to organize an event in Barcelona? Start here.

I get asked all the time to help with events — from finding venues to co-organising and turning an idea into something that actually happens.

I can’t be everyone’s event consultant... so for this series, you’re my client.

First appointment: The Consultation.
Your event logistics homework is in the video. Save this one — you’ll need your answers for Episode 2.

P.S. Community building? That’s a whole different Playbook. by @vns.krnj
