You do not have to believe any of this for it to work.
That is the thing about the voice. It is not asking for your faith. It is asking for your participation.

Your vagus nerve does not need you to understand it. It just needs vibration. When you hum, it responds. When you chant, it responds. When you open your mouth and let a sound move through your chest, your entire nervous system begins to shift from stress to calm.

This is not something you have to take someone’s word for. You can feel it in your body in fifteen seconds.

The beauty of a mantra, of any sound practice, is that the sound itself does the work. The word mantra comes from two roots: manas, meaning mind, and tra, meaning liberation from. The sound liberates you from the mind. Whether you believe it or not.

Your thoughts will stabilize the more you practice. Your body will become more resilient, more energized, more open. Not because you decided to believe. Because you decided to show up and make sound.

That is all it takes. Try it. Right now. One breath into the belly. One hum into the chest. Feel what shifts.

Your body already knows what to do with this. Your mind just has not caught up yet.

The human factory setting is joy. We come into this world and the joy is there and regardless of how we feel in this world we’re creating together..underneath all the conditioning, expectation, manipulation, fear and grief(what a load we carry) the Joy is always present. It’s just obscured temporarily. Every time we have to compromise our authentic voice, we add another layer that prevents us from accessing it. Even if we’re pretending well, the souls and body know when we are not being true to ourselves. When will humanity begin to love ourselves and life enough to see what we may create from recovering our natural state and returning to joy? I will never lose hope…#vocaltransformation #findyourvoice #healing #voicework #authentic by @vocal_transformation

This is my absolute favorite quote about expression.

It hung on m bedroom doors for years as a reminder before I left my house everyday to stay in my own experience of the world and be curious about what inspired me into action.

My own feelings, my own thought and my own urges. It also gave me permission to honor others as well without it having to conflict or threaten my own.

To find the true voice we must first embrace that we are a unique consciousness and honoring what is inside of us is our direct contribution to this world. When a student comes to me with vocal insecurity, I often hear them trying to sound like someone else. Can you get excited over what it is YOU are? An instruments of divine consciousness and the vibrational sound that comes off of you is your sound imprint on the world. Like no one else’s? Stop trying to fit in, and stop trying to stand out…just be curious about who and what you are? Here is where we begin…#vocaltransformation #findyourvoice #healing #chakrahealing #voicework by @vocal_transformation

Say your name the way Oshun would say hers.

Most of us speak about ourselves from the throat. Quick, small, apologetic. Drop it into the belly and something else answers.

We are spending a day with Oshun and our element of water which lives in the low belly next Saturday 10/17.

Comment ‘OSHUN’ and we will send you the rest.💙 by @vocal_transformation

I am so inspired to see humanity rising up now to be the voice of nature, the voice of the revolution . “Success” in our modern capitalist society has come to many of us at the cost of our honest, authentic voice. This causes dis-ease in all areas of our life, because our voice is the instrument of the soul and for us to be in our truth means to share from our experience and what moves us into contribution. In the many years I’ve been taking students on The journey of reclaiming their full authentic voice. The original voice. I have witnessed huge transformations and miracles in their health, prosperity and relationships. It’s our oldest and most primary instinct. Are you ready to reclaim yours? Comment ‘voice’ for a free audio note and to learn more about the power of your voice.#vocaltransformation #findyourvoice #voicework by @vocal_transformation

The waters are rising and are calling for us to do the same. Your voice is the key now to finally realizing our destiny and human potential. Join me and Gino Castillo on 10/17 for a full day online workshop about the teaching of the Orisha Oshun. We will learn about how to connect with her and the waters of our own prosperity and creative force. As well as learning two traditional songs together! #vocaltransformation #oshun #water #healyourself #healtheplanet by @vocal_transformation

I realized recently that my main drive in life is to cut through the layers of falseness that people have been conditioned to wear as a means of fitting in and belonging to a conditioned society. I find it fascinating how scary this can be to people. The permission to be who you really are and take off the masks. When humanity can reclaim authenticity without apology and love ourselves we will love each other. When we can honor our truth we may be able to then honor the truth of another. You tell me..do you think I am setting too high a standard for the human race? Or do you think we can do it? Truly liberate ourselves…I hope to live to see it..an honest humanity.#vocaltransformation #thetruthshallsetyoufree by @vocal_transformation
