Japan is a vintage luxury shoppers dream. Here is my breakdown from my trip. This trip was different. Travelling with my babies who are no longer babies. They had their own itinerary wish lists. The “fits” had to be panned. My digital camera got way more use with the three of them than it ever did when I bought it years ago. It was a totally different travel experience, compared to when I just packed their clothes and held their hands. At the same time it dawned on me that I don’t know how many more adventures like this we will have. With the girls all with different schedules and levels of schooling, it will definitely be harder to get all five of us together. Even now as I sit and type this, they are sitting and giggling amongst themselves. No supervision needed (cheering on the inside about this) .I pray the memories they made together keep them close always. Even on the days they want to strangle each other..Alhumdulillah so blessed to have the opportunity to see the world through their eyes, even if they drive me a little bonkers here and there. Hot, Hazy and Crazy day @universal_studios_japan! #universalstudiosjapan #minionslove #osakajapan🇯🇵 #thefarooqsinjapan #amusement_park I have to say even though it’s expensive, we would not have made it through the park without the universal express pass. If you only have one day to do everything, it is a must.We finished all the main rides by 5pm and then went back and did any of the secondary attractions the kids wanted to see.Snoopy Studios was a great way to beat the heat indoors. As it was a scorcher today.Plus Sofia it snoopy obsessed.Who can forget hello kitty!Dress up fun🩷Jurassic Park, had the best ride of the day.Aleeza did not want to leave, and wanted to go on every rollercoaster twice 🫠At Sofia’s insistence we stayed to experience the park after dark.Mario world was impressive.Exhausted but a day well spent.Back to Tokyo tomorrow! by @voicebehindthelens

We took a private tour for the day to see Mount Fuji. Thankfully we totally lucked out with the weather and visibility because that is factor in how much you can see. ( There is a site to let you know the visibility for the day as some day visibility is really poor) Pictures and Videos don’t do it justice, it’s something to see for yourself (iA) I would strongly recommend hiring a driver service like we did, as he was able to take us to a couple of lakes on the way, a boat tour, and the outlet mall after. Also the trip was almost 2hrs from our hotel. .Sidenote the flowers in the park are changes seasonally so the lavender is just for the summer.
