I used to think being misunderstood meant i had to explain myself better.

But some people already create a version of you in their mind before you even speak. they don’t listen to understand you, they listen to judge you through their assumptions, projections, and opinions.

And that’s why constantly explaining yourself becomes emotionally exhausting.
