Travel is beyond Luxury stays, Iconic Monuments. It's about how you immerse yourself into local culture, lifestyle, traditions and give back to society (lesser privileged ones) without compromising your experience.

This 45 hand block printing workshop in Jaipur was one such experience for me.

Dharavi - Not a Slum but the Backbone of Mumbai's Economy with major inhouse industries like Plastic Recycle, Leather, Pottery / Organic clay.

Recently, the Adani group has been given the responsibility to redevelop the Dharavi. Also, it was nice to see that the group is helping the youths with job oriented skill development courses.

Yes, hygiene is badly compromised, lanes are extremely congested but nothing is able to kill the spirit of the Mumbaikars...

This is what happens when so-called social media influencers try to become tour operators.

This is Akshardham Metro station on 1st Oct 2026. I had interacted with the drivers as well as stranded travelers - many of them had no clue who the organizer was or which vehicle was for whom, no guest lists and so on... Just a few volunteers with multiple namelists with per day 1-2k management stipend.

This one is Special but not about Talent (certainly not about singing) but my ability to be spontaneous, sporting and living the life with joy and being grateful even when the parallel space of my life is screwed up.

I am constantly building my life around the Japanese belief of "Kintsugi".

About the experience: This is a glimpse from my recent visit to Bollywood Movie shooting studio at Bollywood Safari, Mumbai.
