Today we were delighted to hand over a collection of stitched pockets to the brilliant dancers of Boss Morris! These pockets were included in the 2026 Threads exhibition at Llanthony Secunda Priory this summer. They were created by the talented Exploring Textiles group at The Folk of Gloucester, and every one is entirely unique. Each handmade pocket celebrates the nature and folklore of Gloucestershire, stitched with real care and imagination. The dancers were thrilled with the results. Zariq was especially delighted to spot the gingham trim, inspired by Genggan, traditional Malaysian textiles. It’s a lovely reminder of how stories and traditions meet in the things we make together. A huge thank you to Ally Goff and every member of the Exploring Textiles group for these stunning creations, and to Boss Morris for giving them such a joyful new life.
