Dr. Shapiro is a Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. He previously spent many years at UCLA, where he was Distinguished Professor of Medicine and Public Health and founded the university’s fellowship program in primary care research.

This past weekend, Voices of Equity hosted a successful Leadership Onboarding Intensive, bringing together hundreds of students nationwide to explore how we can drive meaningful change in health equity. Our national directors led sessions on respective committee roles, equipping our leaders with the tools and vision to make an impact in their communities.

We hope everyone gained valuable information from these sessions, and look forward to working alongside all our incredible undergraduate leaders. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
