The trap is set.

I'm pleased to announce that my third album, A Beast to Be Vanquished, will be released 29th February. It's a short one by my standards (originally planned as an EP but you can't call a 50ish minute release an EP...) and acts as the culmination of the Tomb Fantasies "era". Can we call things eras or has Taylor Swift trademarked it?? Phase? I guess that's Marvel. Chapter is DC I guess... Aeon? Age?? Stage??? Period???? There is nothing original under the sun.

Anyway, this is tfiii and it will be released on Thursday. We must be prepared for the horrors that await us, or we will all be consumed.

Here it is, the album I promised to announce. It's called Doom Zistortion which is quite frankly a stupid name but what can you do. It serves as a companion piece to Tomb Fantasies, hence I have been mysteriously calling it tfii.

When I finished Tomb Fantasies, I wanted to recontextualise the tracks in a way that mirrors how I had felt while making it. Doom Zistortion is the result of the incongruous feelings of hyper-connectedness and hyper-isolation mixed together and chopped up to make a new monstrosity.

The album has 8 tracks each titled as an upside down response to each of the tracks from Tomb Fantasies. Here are their initialisms. They are ridiculous.
1. WDYCITN
2. CYEADO1803
3. CBD (not that one)
4. HYCRTQOBGOYP
5. RYBUTWID
6. IDTLAROB
7. FEWTDYR
8. IISC

Thank you to @gemcaroline_design for making the artwork exactly how I envisioned it!
