•{Preparation & the path of Life being in service}• There is always time. There is always space. There is always capacity. For that which truly matters. If we make it so. Our sovereign choice, Highlighted deeper by the pressure of our addictions to technology, consumerism, capitalism, dopamine, dissociation, dis-ease. And yet, The sun radiates strong. The ocean's swell captivates. The crow and Buzzard are calling loud. The owl's voice ripples life through the dark night. I sit today in preparation for tomorrow's Unity Counsel, Circle One. Meeting the topic of Inclusivity. My preparation guides me to sit with the stone circle upon the land, bringing my Mesa, Hapéh & Guitar to accompany. A sprig of mugwort I gift to the centre. The trees ripple in greeting, the wind's voice is present. The solar warmth brings comfort. The blue sky offers its vibrancy. The Mesa is of Q'ero tradition, the people of the High Andes in Peru. An Ancient Technology shared freely with all who bear the call to re-connect. With all of our relations. My Mesa is A Healer's Mesa. Meaning it is in service to the Community. Meaning It and I are in service to my Community. This service is my Role. My job. My duty. My love. My passion. Each Stone and Crystal within this bundle are attuned to sacred sites, elementals, guardian energies. Each stone holds intention, prayer, connection. My preparation today was to re-set the Mesa. In service to the land that is now Home. To each of its human people and the more-than-human relatives. To be a bridge between matter and spirit. To akhemise what needs to be transmuted. To bear compassionate witness and take integral action. It binds me, in accountability. To show up, Every day, In a good way. To carry medicine. To hold others. To lead ceremony. To gather people. To listen. To learn. To grow. As One. I Bow to the path that is presented to me, For it is one I have walked for a long time. It is one I devote to every single day, With each breath that moves me. Each choice, thought and action, In service to the greater whole. •{Musings on Appropriation // Appreciation}• An axis of strong current. Sitting with; How can it morally Just for a person with a particular ancestral lineage, To need to pay a person of the lineage that colonised said ancestral lineage, To teach that person, Their own lineage, Because due to colonialism and capitalism, They were born on the colonisers land, And thus severed from that innate ancestral wisdom. What a conundrum. And the people teaching are in strong devotion to their practice. With Love in their hearts. And yet they are still profiting from the act of the colonisation. And so in a way, that culture continues beneath the surface. It's never really bothered me, until recently. Until a year or two ago in Bali, I cried in a yoga class, at how beautiful the practice was, realised I'd been avoiding it, because of Westernisation and then had the painful realisation that the very practice I'd excluded myself from, is indeed an Ancestral Birthrite and Ancient Practice of Lineage. It's bothered me more since visiting India for the first time at the start of the year. And again, realising how 'White' I actually feel. That conundrum of somehow all of these 'yogis' who have done hundreds of hours of teacher trainings are now speaking my own ancestral Wisdoms back to me. Can we be a practicer without appropriating? Can we generate a culture that has done enough de-colonial wound healing, that a studied culture can be shared without it feeling hurtful? Can a person ever actually offer a Devotional Ritual Practice (which are a daily, free birthright to all humans) to the gods, borrowed from another religion and culture, not their own, and make clean money from it? Feeling the second theme here emerging for November's Round Two of Unity Counsel, and we are still 2 weeks away from Round One ~ On Inclusivity. My heart is choosing to face each of these directions with keenness, and to truly be able to sit beside people who hold all angles within these stories and feel True. A day shared with curious hearts, Surrounded in the embrace of Hazel, Chesnut, Lime and Birch. Calling in the mythic spirit of the White Stag to support our dreaming. Playing with the tongue and song of Proto-Celtic chant backed by the drum of a dear Fallow Stag. Merging into connection with the Land around us, encouraging the wild self, the animal part of our innate nature. Barefoot, hearts press to trunks, fingers explore branches. Offering and making Ritual with the Sacred sites around us, inviting the landscape into our dreaming awake. Communing with an indigenous teacher of these lands, a voice echoing strong from Ancient times, re-emerging to support our collective evolution through these current times. Red capped, she, a queen of the mycelial realms. Revered. Feared. To be Respected. An Initiator. Into the very depths of our psyche. An awakener, Calling us forth in our power. To rise in Right Relationship with all our fellow beings. As she grows in symbiosis with the forest and Moors, so she encourages us. To find our role and claim it. To devote to it. To be a voice, to be an active prayer. Upon the land. A first gathering as the season of Amanita Muscaria fruits forth. Inviting our roots of connection to grow stronger through the autumn and Wintering months. Giving thanks to have the honour of creating spaces where more people can re-member themselves as the ancient land, through their relating with this native teacher. •Reflections on 30• A strong turn of the wheel That landed within me on September 4. A threshold crossing. A deeper becoming. And now sitting as I reflect, Ahead of my Father's birthday tomorrow. This relationship of ours, The most challenging of my life. And yet in the chapter of the greatest transition thus far, Feeling his Presence in ways, Beyond the telling of words. And in a sense, There is so much sense in that. Of what is embodying through me, What is being called up in me. To have that external reflection of Father beside me, As this internal mystery continues its weaving. One of my greatest fears, In being around him growing up, Was that I would be bound by the same challenges and hardships he faced. Bound by the same chains. And now I see so much of myself, Truly is a living flame of what he carries. Yet life somehow has gifted me the privilege of being able to move with the vast currents of energy, inspiration, creativity, life-force, in different ways. With tools he never had access to. With compassionate, open hearted support that he longed for. And so I can move through my life with potent force, and yet a steadiness has also been grounded beneath that. There is Earth to this fire. There is Virgo to Root the rising flame of Sagg that is ascending through me in this Saturn Return. And the fears? They are all so close and clear to me, on the daily that I'm truly being able to welcome them in open embrace. Walking these edges of the Psyche, the deep subconscious rivers, illuminated like the Nile by both the Moon and the Sun. Blessed by a season of deep Eclipse Initiation. And asked to be carried forward openly. The masks are dropped, Liberation is sweet. Those who walk beside Hold so much beauty That the grief of those lost along the way, Can be tended to. Hearing the call to Gather. To Bring circle, To Bring counsel. A most holy passage through the weekend // straight into this next lunar cycle with anchoring the Sekhem Rays through the deep south west of Kernow. A weekend of Attunement and Initiation that changed in shape and size so many times, until it landed in its final form as a 1:1. And what an honour it was to weave in this way. Exploring the mysteries of Khem •{Ancient Egypt}• through the form of Energy alkhemy, trance journeying and symbol work. Walking in Pilgrimage with the Land and being in Ritual with the Sacred points of the Holy Wells and Beacon. Directly inviting the local energy lines in the Healing being shared. Delving into the power that the Shadow holds. Welcoming it forth as Alkhemical Fuel for the life-force Fire •{Sekhem}• Playing within a quantum realm & Expanding the body's capacity to hold energy & vitality. Reminding myself that this energy form has an intelligence that is far beyond my own need to think, plan or organise. Simply to prepare the space. Devote my heart. And be of service.
