we return to spanners once again ♪˞͛◖₍ᐢ. ̫.ᐢ₎◗˞͛♪

złom - Polish for ‘scrap metal’ - is a series of musical gatherings across London, mixing live acts and djs across genres

with:
Osmo (@malu_laet)
Malu builds techno-mythological worlds through embodied characters, custom computational instruments and ritual systems. Previous works have centred on Sally, a cyber-alchemist and fem cyborg. Now it is Osmo’s turn, a knight of the Techno-Landlord Corporation, bound by oath to the machine he serves.

Space Candy (@space__candy__)
Space Candy is a post-rave maximalist music duo that combines the loud, fast and avant garde to create a merciless, unrelenting kind of fun! No BPM is safe! No sound is left unmangled! Every heartbeat is a kick drum and every synth is a nerve ending!

Void Response (@void_response)
void_response is a London based DJ and promoter, growing up in the Italian underground rave and free party scene, he was later drawn to the darker realms of noise, industrial, and experimental music upon moving to London. He runs underground experimental and hardcore club night local_void and is part of DIY collective and label falsehood union.

jb glazer (@jb_glazer)
jb glazer is the fake name of an experimental composer, producer and songwriter from south east london. jb uses his own old songs, tv, youtube, field recordings and other musical sources as the foundations of his music. He sometimes plays guitar or sings and often loops the best parts using CDJs. He takes personal moments flooded into by the internet as symbols for extremes of feeling.

Ailish (@graceailish)
Ailish is a crafter of mean sounds and prone to sudden movement. Her current live show improvises with recordings: her warm & distorted reed instrumentation, dance rhythms of noise-splintered gate hinges and pneumatic drills, her voice, and the sounds of being alone in a building.

Stepping into the shadows on Jan 18th — here’s the DJs who will be sharing the decks

@void_response _
London based DJ and promoter, his genre-defying sets fuse deconstructed club rhythms, abrasive textures, functional noise, mutant breaks, and raw hardcore energy.
He runs underground experimental and hardcore club night @local__void

@voidstepping _
Hastings based DJ and noisemaker, she has hosted radio show residencies on Balamii and Noods Radio. Her constellation of tastes range from cinematic reveries to dubbed-out experimental electronica and doom metal. She explores the cosmic and the eerie through the gnostic sonics hiding between genres.

@turbomiffy _
Their selections aim to share the shards of an obsessed soul. Delivering a myriad of intense and visceral materials, Turbo Miffy’s signature sound constantly evolves between two extremes, from soft and wavey melodies to chaotic facemelters.
Closely involved with the influential UK imprint @diffcircles , Turbo Miffy has been a repeat b2b partner of co-founder @mumdance and has also shared lineups with the label’s other head, @logos_ldn

@lukehekate _
Having been playing with turntables for over 30 years, LukeHekate/DJ Dybbuk has finally worked out how to turn them on and is now ready to mash them audio potatoes - Genre fluid broken bass music for your ears will infect your body with a later day dancing plague.
