The customer is always right... especially when they command a Kabal. 🍷 🗡️

For this Artistic Display level commission, the client requested a very specific departure from the standard artwork, opting for a unique blonde aesthetic over the traditional obsidian hues. Honestly, It works surprisingly well against the cold armour tones.

While Lady Malys is usually depicted in darker tones, this lighter palette brings a regal, almost ghostly presence to the Archon. She might look elegant, but we wouldn't accept a drink from her. 💀

🏆️ Store Competition Gold Medallist

This Enforcer Commander holds a special place in the Voidstar archives. A few years back, this specific miniature took home the gold at a local Warhammer store painting competition. It’s always fun to look back at veteran models that stood the test of time.

🖌️ The main challenge with T’au battlesuits is the sheer amount of flat surface area. There is nowhere to hide mistakes. We kept the red armour smooth and matte, relying on razor-sharp edge highlighting to define the bulky geometry of the Enforcer suit. We focused on crisp panel lining (black lining) to separate the segments, followed by two stages of edge highlights to make the red pop without turning it orange or pink.

As for the base, the choice of a vibrant purple and magenta alien base was dictated by the need to maintain strict consistency with the rest of the existing T’au army. It’s a clean, "box-art" approach that fits the high-tech nature of the faction. No battle damage here—his shield generator is working at 100% efficiency.
