Introducing our Natalia braids, an eight-piece collection of embroidered furnishing trims marrying Tess Newall’s decorative painting with Volga Linen’s textile heritage. The braids offer a considered way to introduce pattern and texture through craft.

Natalia draws on Volga Linen’s historic archives and longstanding connection to European linen-making and cross stitch embroidery. The collection continues our exploration of traditional textile techniques, with Tess Newall’s decorative artistry bringing historic references into a contemporary interior.

The braids are designed to be used on curtains and upholstery, applied to cushions or soft furnishings, and as a decorative finish to papered or fabric-covered walls.

Available in three colourways ~ Meadow, Poppy and Cornflower (pictured).

Introducing our new Field Flower Broderie Anglaise table linen ~ finished with delicate cutwork, embroidered by hand & made from the finest Italian linen. The tablecloth’s floral vine, inspired by the flax flower posy, traces a rectangular border at its centre, exquisitely framed by fine ladder stitch detailing.

Layered here over our Constantia Green fine weave linen, the table is dressed with a set of coordinating napkins, each corner embroidered with a field flower motif.

Bringing together Volga Linen’s longstanding heritage in European linen-making and cross stitch embroidery, with Tess Newall’s decorative artistry, the ‘Natalia’ collection draws on a shared appreciation for pattern and traditional craftsmanship.

Introducing Volga’s new Field Flower Broderie napkins, delicately hand-finished with floral embroidery. Inspired by the cornflower and flax flower posy, the napkins feature floral motifs in tonal Scarlet thread, framed with fine ladder stitch detailing.

Woven in Italy from the finest natural linen, the collection includes napkins and cocktail napkins, with a soft pastel colourway to follow soon.
