📍 Volo - Swampscott MA

Another addition to my greatest hits list! We’ve tried quite a few pizzas from Volo over time, and these are some of our favorites. One of the things we love most about Volo is the variety of their menu. They have both Detroit and New York style pizzas, with everything from the classics to some really creative combinations!

Their Detroit-style pizzas are especially good, with thick, fluffy crusts, crispy edges, and quality toppings. The Buffalo Chicken has always been a standout for us, but the Southwestern, Verde, and North End Feast are all worth trying too! And you really can’t go wrong with a classic pepperoni!

Definitely a spot worth having in your pizza rotation on the North Shore!

Truly honored to have Volo Pizza featured by Boston Globe as one of Boston’s 12 essential pizza spots. Even more special to be included with so many great pizza makers around the area.

Thank you @bostonglobe and @devra_first for including us, and thank you to our incredible team and everyone who continues to support us here at Volo ❤️

CRISPY EDGE HEAVEN 🍕Just grabbed the legendary Detroit-style deep dish from @volopizza in Swampscott, and it absolutely lives up to the hype! That caramelized cheese crust is pure perfection. 🤤Took our box right across the street to eat by the water—the ultimate North Shore weekend move. If you haven’t tried their “Double Trouble” with hot honey yet, you are seriously missing out!👉 What’s your go-to pizza style: Detroit square or traditional NY thin?
