A Birkin for your table? Almost.

Inspired by the iconic grain of Hermès leather and the house’s legendary color palette, our bestselling reversible placemats bring a little luxury to the everyday.

Beautifully crafted in wipe-clean eco-leather, with two contrasting colors to mix, match and reinvent your table.

Fun fact: I wrote my master’s thesis on Hermès and craftsmanship in luxury. Some inspirations just stay with you. 🧡

A childhood joy, brought to the table.🍦🍭

I’ve never been big on skulls and skeletons, but I do love the sweeter side of Halloween.
And here’s a little story behind our hand-beaded Sprinkles placemats. My daughter Isabelle helped me design them, inspired by her love of covering cookies and ice cream in colorful sprinkles.

Who knew a child’s sweet tooth could inspire a best-selling design? 🩷🎃

I’ve always loved black and white, especially when you mix in something unexpected.

My love of architecture often finds its way onto the table.
The Empire Placemat takes its cues from the geometry of New York’s Chrysler Building - bold black-and-white lacquer, Art Deco lines and a distinctly Manhattan point of view.

My path to design was anything but conventional.
I grew up surrounded by architects and designers, but my own path took me to Wall Street, where I spent more than fifteen years before eventually finding my way back to the world I grew up in.

That unlikely trajectory became my advantage.

The rigor of finance. The eye of design. An international life. And a genuine love of hosting and entertaining.

It’s a rare intersection, and one that has shaped everything I’ve created with Von Gern Home.

I’ve never thought of accessories as simply decoration. To me, they’re the final layer of a space - the pieces that give it personality, emotion and a sense of occasion.

From the table to the room, the point of view remains the same: considered, unexpected and personal.

New York based. Internationally commissioned.
