Young people care about their communities, and they’re ready to do the work to protect them ☀️

Last week we spent the day at the Minnesota Youth Voter Summit workshopping registration drives, civic skills, and what it really means to be part of a community.

The highlight? Asking students what they love about #Minnesota — and watching the conversation take off.

One student said “it feels like the government here really wants us to be part of it.” The whole room agreed 🙌

When young people are seen, they show up. Every time.

Teens work 40 hours a week in school and pay local taxes, but we don’t get a say. That’s just wrong, and MN legislators agree.

2026 Lobby Day #1 was a MAJOR success, with several Co-Authors signing onto both our House and Senate bills, debating the legality of lowering the voting age, and answering logistical concerns.

Thank you to our student volunteers for taking time out of their school day to advocate for a voice in their local community.

Thank you legislators for listen to us, asking us the tough questions, and being honest with us on your opinions.
