My op-ed ran in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution this morning, and it’s about something every Georgian should know before they vote.

Georgia Republicans plan to redraw our congressional and legislative maps after the Nov. 3 election. They promised public meetings and transparency. None of those meetings have happened. Instead, they’re waiting until your ballot is cast, because they know voters don’t want this.

Maps aren’t permanent, and the governor’s veto pen matters. With Keisha Lance Bottoms in office for four years, Republicans would have to come back to the table and draw fair maps. This race is about whether voters choose their politicians, or the other way around.

Early voting ends TODAY. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Read the full piece at the link in my bio, then go vote for @keishaforga and democrats all the way down the ticket. 🗳️
