Hello Bonjour Suosdey! I’m Votey, the creator behind these conscious-crafted rings.

I’m Cambodian-American but a global citizen trying to learn as much about humanity as possible.

I’m passionate about spirituality and the Oneness that connects us all. I believe in creating a better world by sharing our unique gifts and talents in service to those in need. That is why I have created this conscious business that aims to alleviate the suffering of humanity through a donation of proceeds of sales.

Everywhere I go, I carry Palestine in my heart. From Lisboa, to Marrakech, Palermo, Valencia, Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Phnom Penh…. And to the protests happening right now in Paris. Gen Z we are so proud of you! Keep fighting against unfair systems and corruption. My parents did not survive the Cambodian 🇰🇭 genocide for me to ignore them happening now.

We see that collective liberation is here. ✊🏽💓 🌐Global intifada and the right to resist illegal occupations of oppressed peoples is here.

Palestine will be free! Do not let the zionists and liars re-write the narrative of the Al Aqsa flood.

𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫.

When I was a kid, I would sketch out designs of dresses and outfits that I wanted to someday make. I kept them in notebooks that sadly are now either thrown out or misplaced.

I never went to fashion design school and instead went the “practical” route of law school and business school. But I always remained committed to personalizing everything I could—designing my own prom dress with traditional Khmer silk garments. And also designing my own wedding dress with a Cambodian tailor using local materials.

Buying off the shelf feels like a betrayal.

That is why it is so fun and fulfilling to make handmade jewelry. It starts with the design, then there’s the learning curve in the process of making your design come to life, and then the joy and pride of wearing it—especially when it is in support of the liberation of Palestine.

I’m still learning and gaining expertise as I go, finding which strings and designs work best, and getting excited when I can source unique beads. But I know the little girl in me is proud that I am an artist—letting creativity be a big part of my life.

Support handmade creators and artists. And Free Palestine Free Lebanon Free Congo Free Sudan. Free our minds from oppression.

Over here, we reject zionism and all forms of supremacy. We call for the liberation of oppressed people all around the world.

These are the flags I’ve made lately and I think they’re so cute ☺️ 🥹 What other countries should I try?

We have the honor to collaborate with talented artists and entrepreneurs in Cambodia and abroad, to amplify the Palestinian struggle and the fight for liberation. We thank you for those who had purchased solidarity merchandise, artworks and products, where the proceeds went to youth organizations and affected families in Palestine.

Let us continue to support our communities, sisters and brothers, as well as the global movement for a Free Palestine by promoting and consuming ethically made products. Every purchase made is a conscious act towards humanity, equality and justice for those who are denied their rights.

Do check out the summarized catalogue of solidarity merchandise, artwork and products here. We will have complete display of the items tomorrow at @bongbonlai starting at 6pm. We hope to see you there! Free Palestine 🇰🇭🇵🇸🙏🏼 by @voteycreations

The Khmer Apsara dance is a divine and beautiful representation of the cycle of growth. Each mudra and precise shape of the hand and fingers has its own meaning from seed to ripe fruit.

I’m proud to share the fruit of my art as a Khmer woman: the 🇰🇭 charm necklace that you can wear as you embody the celestial beauty of the Apsaras.

Handmade with love and conscious intention.

May suffering unite us instead of divide. May we heal and use that medicine to heal others. May we see the struggle of Palestine as our own and as a powerful call to action. Everyone is needed in the call for collective liberation.

Glory to the martyrs and glory to Palestine.

Re-stock is dropping soon! Obsessed with these 🇰🇭 🇵🇸 charm necklaces 😍

Cambodia is in the news. Historically Cambodia has been in the crosshairs of colonialism, American imperialism, all the -isms. But the current conflict with Thailand is not merely about borders. Like other headlines, it’s a spiritual fight between those who tend to the land and those who try to own it. It is the ancient tale of indigenous and colonizer. It is what we have seen playing out in the genocide in Palestine where the terrorist apartheid state of israel is stealing land and culture and claiming it as theirs.

Alhamdulillah God made me a Khmer woman from a land rich in history and spirit. My ancestors built the temples during the Khmer Empire in the 11th to 13th centuries in the lands which includes much of modern day Southeast Asia. The Khmer influence was grand: in culture, food, religion, politics. You might not know this because now Cambodia is known as a country rebuilding after a genocide. There are still many unknowns about the Khmer Empire but one thing is for sure: the indigenous do not destroy what their ancestors built—only the oppressors do.

French colonizers drew the line of division between Khmer and Thai lands but never learned that the land does not belong to us, we belong to the land. Colonizers do not understand that when we die we do not take the land with us. Only our good deeds survive us.

I have no ill will towards the lovely Thai people I have met in Thailand and in my travels. But seeing recent comments from Thai people wishing death on Cambodians angers me and shows the dangerous effects of nationalism and xenophobia. It is the arrogance of having a more “modern” country and no stain of war, genocide, or colonization. It is the false belief of superiority. It is humanity’s inability to see equality in our diversity. Let the narrative shift as it has for Palestine: the oppressor is not better for their evils. God rewards those who suffer with patience and faith, not those who walk on the backs of the oppressed.

I yearn for Cambodia to heal. I yearn for peace in my motherland, my mother’s land.

p.s. can you spot the stolen LV logo from Angkor Wat’s apsara skirt in the first slide? De-colonize your mind and your wardrobe. by @voteycreations
