You thought you’d be choosing flowers over a glass of wine.

Now it’s 11 pm, you have 27 tabs open, and you’re still trying to figure out what the venue quote actually includes.

You switch to photographers because that feels more fun… until you have 200 beautiful portfolios and no idea how to narrow them down.

You’re making decisions about things you’ve never booked before, with money you’ve worked hard to save. Of course you want to get them right.

You can be excited to get married and overwhelmed by planning at the same time.

Sometimes what helps is having fewer options, knowing which questions to ask, and being able to talk a decision through with someone who’s done this before.

People are always surprised that I don't run or look stressed on wedding day.

The truth is, I prepared this day minute by minute months in advance.

I also work with incredible vendors who know exactly what they're doing, which makes all the difference.

My job isn't to carry flowers, move chairs or set tables.

My job is to lead the team, oversee every detail and make sure everything happens exactly as planned.

The only thing I carry all day is my measuring tape.

Because details matter, and sometimes perfection is a matter of millimeters.

When I was little, my dad used to tell me:
"If you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room."
I've carried that advice with me ever since.
One of the biggest compliments I can give my couples is the team behind their wedding.
The florist who knows flowers better than I ever will. The photographer who sees moments I'll never notice. The DJ who reads a dance floor better than anyone. The chef, the musicians, the rental team...
Every single one of them is better than me at what they do.
And that's exactly how I want it.
Because my job isn't to compete with experts.
It's to find them, bring them together, and create the environment where they can do their best work.
The best weddings are never the result of one talented person.
They're the result of extraordinary people working as one.
