Blessed Ostara (March 19-22)
Ostara is the major festival of the Spring Equinox, a time to rejoice at the balance between extremes. It marks the growth of the God from infancy to maturity as the earth grows warmer and life renews. Some traditions include nature walks, rejoicing at the beauty of life, planting seeds, painting eggs, and meditating on the changing seasons. A common symbol of Ostara is the Rabbit, as Ostara is all about fertility and new life by @vox.malefictus

What is this?
A spell to draw someone’s affections

How to do it:
Write the person’s name on a piece of paper (The more information you can write about the specific person the better).
Fold the paper towards your body (make sure not to fold it away from you as this will act as a banishing spell if done in this way).
Draw a heart on the folded paper using your receptive hand (usually your non dominant hand but not always).
Place on altar, or place where your energy is the most active.
Place a piece of Rose Quartz on top of it. by @vox.malefictus

BLESSED SAMHAIN 🍁🍁🍁 Samhain is the midpoint between the Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice. On this day the veil between our physical world and the realm of the spirits is at its thinnest and therefore communing with ancestors is made easier. Traditions for this festival include setting a place at the dinner table for a passed loved one and burying the food after as an offering, divination, visiting ancestors in graveyards, and other such activities. This is a time for honoring and remembering our ancestors and those we have lost. by @vox.malefictus

Some traditions include dancing around the Maypole, having bonfires, Handfastings, and some more sensual activities. by @vox.malefictus

Merry Yule, Blessed Be. Yule is the major festival celebrating the Winter Solstice and the longest night of the year. It is the celebration of the return of the light and marks the beginning of the year. From this point forward the days grow longer again. Traditions include lighting candles of red, gold, green, and white, burning of the sacred Yule log, decorating a Yule Tree, hanging wreaths, caroling, giving thanks, having a feast, and even some mistletoe shenanigans. The “12 days of Christmas” is thought to have been inspired by Yule, among other traditions of Christmas, because some celebrate Yule for 12 days from December 21st- January 1st. by @vox.malefictus
