ARLINGTON D1 — I have so many more videos and pictures, but unfortunately I can’t post them all. This was genuinely one of the best, if not the best, nights of my life. Getting to see them for the first time after being a fan for almost a decade is a feeling I genuinely cannot put into words. The entire night didn’t even feel real, and I don’t think it fully hit me until I was driving home.

A lot of people may think this is childish or that I’m just another obsessed fan, and honestly, maybe both are true. But I found BTS during a time in my life when I felt insanely isolated. I was dealing with a language barrier, there was barely a Hispanic community at my school, I was being bullied, and I was trying to navigate an entirely new school system, country, culture, and language basically on my own, while simultaneously helping my parents do the same.

BTS became one of the things I could turn to during that time. Their music gave me comfort when I felt like I didn’t really belong anywhere, or when I felt like my emotions were too big to deal with on my own, and as I grew up, their music grew with me. So getting to stand there almost a decade later and actually see the seven people whose music had been with me through so many different versions of myself was genuinely surreal.

Maybe to somebody else it was just a concert, but to me it felt like finally meeting a piece of my childhood. I think younger me would’ve lost her mind knowing that one day we’d actually get to see them.
