Back in January, I sold my beloved Nissan 350z to my dad, and bought another one - a 2008 Nogaro red 6-speed with 22k original miles.
How much I love this red HR can’t be understated, nor can I ever forget all the memories I made with the black one in the five years that I owned it. But what means the most to me is that my dream car as an 18 year-old is now owned by the person I admire and respect most in this world - my dad.
I love you so much dad. I’m so happy you own my old Z. The first car I bought myself, the car to which I attach my best and worst memories - the car that got me through so many hard times is now in the hands of the person whose likeness I strive to replicate every day of my life. I’m fully aware that it’s “just a car.” But I could never explain how much it means to me that my greatest role model is the one I get to pass my dream car onto. Cheers to more memories in the red HR, and dad, I hope you live forever - You’re the realest motherfucker there is.
