There isn't one way to build a creative career. That's the point.

At Career Masala Lab, Vivek Dudani, Panisthi Vora, and Vivek Rao shared the career advice they wish they'd received sooner, drawing from journeys that were anything but linear.

The conversation celebrated portfolio careers, curiosity, adaptability, and the confidence to learn on the job. It was also an honest reminder that building a life in the creative sector means thinking beyond your next opportunity, towards sustainability, financial planning, and long-term growth.

Perhaps the biggest takeaway? Every "I don't know" is simply a skill you haven't learned yet.

We were very excited to have celebrated a significant milestone on the 19th of June: the 25th anniversary of our very first public performance, 'The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail.' What began on a rainy weekend all those years ago has brought us to where we are today.

We only thought it'd be fit for us to revisit the text that started it all, and so on the very same day, 25 years later, we did an informal reading at Harkat. Some of the original cast were present, some new faces as well - all people who have made this journey possible (and enjoyable).

Our last shows of #whiterabbitredrabbit was in March 2017 across Bombay, Bangalore and Pune . After 4 years to stage a digital version, I would have never thought about it. Thank you @nassim_soleimanpour & @auroranovaorg for the opportunity to present this again. And also @natakco @nipundharmadhikari who are our co-conspirators on this play. The shows are a fundraiser in support of artists affected by the Covid-19 shutdown. Do buy your tickets and watch @mantramugdh @jayatibhatia @pushkarajchirputkar bring this wonderful script to life. #lettherebetheatre #WRRR by @vra0
