Rare photo of me!
TBT to the time @nicolettespearart body painted me as a nudibranch for an underwater photo shoot.
Dreaming of the sea as I’m currently stuck on land recovering from knee surgery. Itching to get back in the water.

Here are some photos I took of Robbie Fitzsimmons and his band performing at Grand Artique stage at Lightning in a Bottle. Tonight is Robbie’s album release party at The Mint in Los Angeles. If you are in the area, you don’t want to miss this incredible show! Link below. Robbie is a dear friend of mine and an incredible musician. His music is an emotional journey. Combining breathtaking vocals with complex musical composition, his music both inspires me and at times brings me to tears.

Have you ever maintained eye contact with a manta ray? Manta rays have the largest brain-to-body ratio among fish, and some scientists believe they have facial recognition. With a wingspan of about 11 feet, this reef manta ray greeted me with a tap of her wide pectoral fin on my shoulder, nearly knocking me over, as if to say “hello, what are you?” Curiosity and intelligence poured from her gaze. Just like fingerprints, the speckled pattern of dark spots painted on her white underbelly is unique and can be used for identification.
