Grateful for the opportunity to paint this mural Dec'23 for @connectedlane
Finished the week b4 xmas. I contracted the homie Jalopy to help crush this 1000+sq ft. He also designed 1.5 of the walls. (Pendelton looking fills) Best decision, wonderful to work with🙏

I pitched the concept to their director at the Springfield location and was informed that i wasn't their only option. Nonetheless, i won the bid, and the project began.

Designs were approved immediately.
Deposit paid. And supplies purchased, shot out to #forrestpaint, they the best too.

Took 2 short days to prime and doodle grid.
And 3, 15hr days to complete the painting.

Once upon a time there was a Chinese farmer whose horse ran away. That evening, all of his neighbors came around to commiserate. They said, “We are so sorry to hear your horse has run away. This is most unfortunate.” The farmer said, “Maybe.” The next day the horse came back bringing seven wild horses with it, and in the evening everybody came back and said, “Oh, isn’t that lucky. What a great turn of events. You now have eight horses!” The farmer again said, “Maybe.”

The following day his son tried to break one of the horses, and while riding it, he was thrown and broke his leg. The neighbors then said, “Oh dear, that’s too bad,” and the farmer responded, “Maybe.” The next day officers came around to draft people into the army, and they rejected his son because he had a broken leg. Again all the neighbors came around and said, “Isn’t that great!” Again, he said, “Maybe.”

Our painted table @eugenefishmarket is installed and looking pretty cute✨️ We painted all sorts of PNW Easter Eggs, like Ash and the Evil Dead Cabin. Super special dedication for @bjorkman2022 and so much more. If you can find the graffiti, you win a prize....

Im actually concerned for the nose dive effect. As in crashing out hard on some lack of brain power shit. Yet another tool to boost rampant insecurity and lower self worth. Cuz ur brain is, like, important and junk. by @vrgnz_

7pm, July 11 at @manyworld.diy !!! Big ol rap show feat trap/pop/underground beasts @hooligan.behavior.music out of PDX, oddly specific western Oregon meme star/ rapper @sssamuelr, local drain gang/death grips devotee @popecyrusvii, and lyrical underground spitter @vrgnz_ out of Eugene.

$10 if you got it, all ages, all money goes to the artists and venue. Saturdays are mandatory mask days at Manyworld, masks are required and provided. We will close the show out with a freestyle cypher, so bring your bars, bring your beats, and let’s keep building hip hop culture in the heart of the valley (or just have fun making art, same difference).

Pick some up while you can✨️

Bringing back the light, conjuring the fire and dancing under a full moon. With pops of metallic blue and orange in her hair and amulet. Very happy with how this design turned out. #newwitch taken in Yachats, Oregon by @vrgnz_
