Just saw SMALL. A play written and performed by Robert Montano, Directed by Jessi D Hill about a presumably small guy - but not small at all, pursuing big dreams. He was a Jockey 🏇 and then found his purpose as a Dancer 🕺🏽 🪩 What a story of ambition, struggle, grit, faith and destiny. Robert told and performed his story and left it all on the stage. 👏🏽❤️ BRAVO!!!! What an inspiration! I was on my feet cheering him on! And Robert can move I tell you! 👍🏽👍🏽 Thank you Livewire Theatrical and my amazing boss for inviting us to this Play. First day of the Summer schedule in NYC ☀️ Went to Poster House to see the Act Black exhibition highlighting “lost films” in Black cinema between the 19th and 20th century. Ofcourse the CHORUS GIRLS 💃🏾 section caught my eye the most because it’s closest to me 😁 Also peep the Nichols Brothers - per usual - repping Black entertainment from the start.
