πŸŽ„ COVER REVEAL πŸŽ„ This is my eighth cover reveal and not only am I so thankful, I decided only someone who knew what *true* beauty was should introduce the cover for The Twelfth Day of Christmas. Of course, it had to be Paolo! Didn't @julruprecht and the team at @quill.and.flame.publishers do an amazing job? πŸŽ„ The Twelfth Day of Christmas is a Nutcracker/Twelve Days of Christmas retelling with inspirational elements from Stardust and The Princess Bride! πŸŽ„ From the back cover: When is a dream only a dream? As a child, Cordelia Laurent dreamed of an enchanted land full of sweets and a handsome but mischievous prince. Now, six years have passed since her sugar-coated dream cast its spell upon her, and life has become bitter. But when Christmas Eve comes around, everything changes. A mysterious man brings an oddly familiar nutcracker into her clock shop. When the clock strikes midnight, Cordelia is transported back to the Land of Sweets once more. Yet, the land isn’t as she remembered. The delicious candy forests have grown sour and are rife with danger. Her prince holds secrets close. Is it worth Cordelia risking life and limb to find the Five Golden Rings and return Sweets to its original splendor? Can she rescue her beloved prince before the clock winds down? Or will she wake to find the Land of Sweets isn’t even real? Afterall, it is only a dream... πŸŽ„ The Twelfth Day of Christmas is set to release on December 1, 2026 but is open for preorders TODAY! Check out my b10 or anywhere books are sold to preorder! πŸŽ„ If you preorder today you will receive: -a custom bookmark -a character art card -a special ornament -my love for all eternity Just DM me a screenshot of your order! *preorder goodies will be given as supplies last* πŸŽ„ Merry Early Christmas! πŸŽ„ "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." πŸ‘‹πŸΌHello! πŸ‘‹πŸΌ I can't remember the last time I did an intro post so I thought now would be a good time! πŸ‘‹πŸΌ My name is Vanessa and I write under the penname V. Romas Burton. If only present-day me could encourage college-graduate me! πŸ“š When I graduated college, life was not what I had expected. I thought I would be going to law school, married (or engaged or AT LEAST dating someone!) and on my way to start this grand life I had planned. πŸ“š But it didn't turn out that way (life rarely does!). And I found myself lost, confused, and angry. I am still thankful for @chrissy_dreamer for encouraging me to write for fun as a healthy outlet. πŸ“š I poured myself into my stories and characters and 7 years later, I am living the life I prayed so hard for. πŸ“š I have an amazing husband who has always supported my writing since our dating days, three rambunctious but wonderful sons I have the privilege of homeschooling, an amazing publishing house that champions my books without fail and all of you: my endlessly supporting readers and friends! πŸ“š Thank you for 7 years of stories, laughter, and fun. I am thankful God has blessed me so much and pray I can continue to create more exciting books for you to enjoy! πŸ“š Check out my b10 to read my books on Kindle Unlimited! πŸ“š I John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us. πŸ“š P.S.
