Estate sale junkies. Concerts are also our hobby. We DIY'd our 1930s home in 10 months. Maximalists.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Current living room pic. I included a before pic from when we first bought the place.
We still have a mix of styles going on. We bought a fixer upper from the 30's and diy fixed it up.
We have collected a lot of stuff since our big sale a couple years ago.

We are going from maximalist to minimalist. It is going to be weird without so much stuff.

Loot Shoot. I can't believe we found another set of Culver Empress pattern. We found the two swung vases just this last week. The cast iron dutch ovens are in beautiful condition. We have alot more of the steins. The brass swans are the biggest we ever found.

This vintage cowrie shell hanging is a recent garage sale find. It fits well in our 70s velvet painting guest room

We have a kitschy black velvet painting collection again.
We sold our rather large collection when we had our big moving sale a couple years ago. I find the clown and chimpanzee one quite interesting. We hope to make the art in this room all black velvets eventually. We only buy them in the "wild" so it might be awhile.

Just part of our garage sale haul. A Viking orb glass ashtray and lighter! Yay! they charged us $1.00 for the ashtray and $5 for the lighter. We also found some Pryex Amish Butterprint pattern among other things.

These are our recent bargain vintage finds from a quick Reno trip. I think the blue glass apothecary is probably Empoli. The frog bank and rooster cookie jar are California pottery. The swans are the biggest we have found so far. We have moved to another fixer upper since my last post and just finished our DIY kitchen. We went for retro tile choices to speak to the age of the house.

Recent glass finds. The big purple Empoli brandy snifter we found at a small swap meet yesterday while traveling to my mom's birthday. The other two we found a couple weeks ago. We are starting to get a fair amount of glass again after selling our collection.

Tiniest bathroom ever, diy remodel. It is super hard to take a good pic in such a small space. I think it came out cute, I put up the before pics as well, so you can see the difference.

Some of our previous glass collection. I still have a bit of it. We found all of it in the wild. Before this we had a huge moon and stars collection, but I can not find one picture of it.
