A few favourite takes I shot & edited for @cakepaletteuk - exploring the idea of baking inspired by art, and bringing that concept to life through a short commercial 🎨✍🏼

“Chasing Quiet”

Few of my favourite frames I directed on this project.

This whole piece came together over just a day and a half with myself, @harvirg and athlete @mylesburnettt which made the process even more rewarding. From the very beginning, every part of the vision was built with intention - from the concept and storytelling to the visuals, pacing, and overall feel of the film.

A lot of moving between locations, chasing light, adapting ideas in the moment, and making the most out of a small team.

Chasing Quiet.

A film created with a small crew - Director, DOP and an athlete.

A close project that opened up a creative exploration across shifting environments. From calm, natural spaces at sunrise into the energy of the city, highlighting how each setting shapes an athlete’s movement.

BTS vs the final shot 🎥

Shooting solo is more than a camera and a moment - it’s the idea, the collaboration, the direction, and the final cut. One hour. Two music video reels & a super fun creative process as always.

My set up vs the final shot 📷

The aim was to keep the Ethos Construction design process moody and low-lit, using harsher shadows for contrast. A single light was used to shape these scenes, while controlling the workshop lighting to add depth to the image.
