Happy 1 month of being married to @nickmedlin. 🥰 You are a dream. We’ve already had so much fun in month, can’t wait to keep this going for....well, forever!
I’ve got more photos to post, but here are a few sneak peaks for now. To all my friends and family: please send me any and all photos you have from our weekend so I can compile them all. From the onset of my design process, I knew that I wanted this powder room to be something…. something burgundy…with trim. It evolved 100 times. Not pictured: restructuring the entire ceiling to move the HVAC but still maintain 9-foot ceiling, 4 different vanities + broken stone + 5 different faucet changes, a gagillion different lights to try to brighten the room, trim design, and fifty shades of maroon. It may not be Nick’s favorite room in the house, and nothing ever turns out exactly how I plan, but I’m pretty proud I brought my vision (close enough) to life. #powderroom #moody taken in Richmond, Virginia by @vthawx

The party was weird without you, @baybets1415, but it was epic. I’ll never get over you and will have love for you forever. Have you ever wondered what you'll wish you added once your house is already built?

A gas stub out for a future grill is one of the things we always talk through with our clients. When we're already running your gas lines, adding it is minimal cost — but coming back after the house is done is a whole separate project.

And once you're connected to natural gas? No propane tanks to refill. No last-minute store runs. No running out of fuel halfway through cooking dinner.

Easy decision to make during the build. Really hard to go back and add later.
