What a start to the season for the Hokies at JMU!

The weekend was a major success with B team pulling out the win 🥇 and A and C both getting 3rd 🥉(pretty much a VT sweep 🧹🤑)

This is just the start as the boys will be heading off to OSU this weekend for the RPAC Invitational for some more high level ball!

Now introducing for the 26-27 season... your Virginia Tech Mens Volleyball EXECUTIVE BOARD‼️

These studs have worked very hard all summer long to prepare for this year of ball. Ready to set a new standard and keep up the level of excellence from years prior.

LETS GET IT 😤 by @vtmensvolleyball

And our next grad is... Quintin!

Throughout his time with the club, he battled injuries, setbacks, and a whole lot of little kids (unc), but he never stopped showing up. Whether he was on the court, on the sideline, helping the team, or supporting teammates, he always found a way to contribute.

It is easy to be all-in when everything is going perfectly. But Quin kept it pushing, kept caring, and kept giving everything he had to this program even when things werent the best.

He brought leadership, and a kind of energy that made the team feel like a family. He was the guy willing to do what needed to be done.

We are incredibly grateful for everything he gave to this club and look forward to what he accomplishes in his future endeavors!

Thank you, Quintin, for everything. Once a Hokie, always a Hokie. by @vtmensvolleyball

Our next grad is... Portdurr!

Porter has been part of this club for all four years, and that kind of loyalty says a lot. In a program full of standout players and glazed people as well as late nights, injuries, and travel, Porter was someone who continued to show up and give his time, energy, and effort to the team.

We are incredibly grateful for everything Porter has given to this club, the dedication, loyalty, and the years of showing up when it mattered. It is very sad to see him go,

Thank you, Porter, for everything. Once a Hokie, always a Hokie. by @vtmensvolleyball

And our next grad is... Ian!

His climb through the program says everything about the kind of player and teammate he is. He kept working, kept improving, and kept proving that he belonged at the highest level. By the time he became a staple on A Team, it was pretty clear he was there to make an impact.

And the résumé backs it up. He earned 2024 NCVF National Championship Division 1 All-Tournament Team honors, was named to the ECVA South Championships All-Tournament Team in 2023, 2024, and 2026, and also earned 2024 ECVA Championship All-Tournament Team honors. Too easy for the kid.

But beyond the awards, Ian gave us big plays, big moments, and a lot of situations where his leadership was paramount to the teams success.

We are incredibly grateful for everything he gave to this program.

Thank you, Ian, for everything. Once a Hokie, always a Hokie. by @vtmensvolleyball
