𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗔 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱!
On Saturday, October 3, Allied Woodshop is presenting 𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 — a woodworking showcase created by members of our community.
The exhibition explores how knowledge, skills, ideas, and influences move through an interconnected community and manifest through craft.

Rather than simply putting a collection of furniture and objects in a room, we’ve been thinking about the relationships between them: how makers learn from one another, how ideas evolve as they pass between people, and how individual practices become part of something larger.

We’re also creating a collaborative installation — a physical record of the makers, materials, and connections that make up Allied.

The show is part of LA Design Weekend, a citywide celebration bringing together 100+ studios, galleries, and cultural spaces across Los Angeles.

Can't say the reason for this yet, but this experience definitely raised my appreciation for anyone able to speak on camera.
