Thank you to everyone who joined VVF04 VINA-HEY. It was an unforgettable night for us, and we hope you felt the same. The vibes were high all nite: non-stop motion and singing on the dance floor, laughter all around, old friends reconnecting, new ones being made, with honeycomb cake in hand. .° ༘🪩⋆🖇₊˚ෆ

Shoutout to the DJs and performers who graced the booth thru the night - no missed, all heat.🔥

wanted to share a few clips from @vuivefest on Friday. there are not many experiences in nyc that center vietnamese music and faces in nightlife (tbh this might be the only 1) and it meant so so much to me to get the call from @hien999 and @leonguyencomedy to soundtrack the peak time slot.

this was the first vinahouse set I’ve ever played and it was so much fun to connect vinahouse to other diasporic genres like baile funk and drill that have had a huge influence on me and the lava sound.

big up to @leonguyencomedy as the mc and the crowd for locking in, won’t forget this night for a long time by @vuivefest

introducing our vui vẻ moms so you know who to approach if you need us tonight 🐉🗣️🩷

a few gentle reminders to keep the space feeling good for everyone:

• no flash on the dancefloor. if you’re recording, keep it short 10–20s and stay present with us
• keep conversations off the dancefloor. bar and snacks area are perfect for catching up
• zero tolerance for harassment of any kind. if anything feels off, please feel free to reach out to us in person

come dance, feel, and yearn together. let’s have fun tn y’all!! 🫶 taken in Mood Ring by @vuivefest

VVF04 🪩 VENDOR INTRO
Danced and vibed a little too hard to VINA-HEY? Want a lil snack, a lil sweet treat? Say less. 😌
@matnbutter got you covered with pandan & ube honeycomb cake and patê chaud — baked with love by our friend @miss_kathy11. 👩🏻‍🍳💚💜🤎
Stop by her stall before (and after) heading into the dancefloor. Bánh bò between beats, patê sô in the club. This is everything VVF envisions for a night out. taken in Mood Ring by @vuivefest
