Happy #TDOV everyone!! It's been another difficult year for trans folks, so I just wanted to share some of my own trans joy. I got top surgery this past January and I'm now a little over 2 months post-op. This surgery is the greatest thing I have ever done for myself.

There are no words for how comfortable I feel in my body now. It feels like coming home. At baseline, it is so much easier to just Exist now than it ever has been. The smallest things imaginable are easier: walking down the stairs, turning around, moving quickly, in any way, jumping, stretching, laying on the couch, walking into a gym, going to the store, even just THINKING about my clothes (and of course getting dressed itself). A thousand little things that I never realized had transmuted into dysphoria over the years now replaced with uninhibited joy.

Looking in the mirror makes me smile now. That is something I could never, ever imagine saying before.

This is what gender affirming care does. It is life-affirming, and it is life-saving, and I cannot describe how grateful I am for it. Trans people deserve care, comfort, and joy in all aspects, please keep supporting the trans folks in your lives however they need.

Hey y'all! I have some exciting news I wanted to share: I'm getting top surgery in January!!

There's been a lot happening this year so I haven't been very present, but I really wanted to share this since it's been a long time coming.

I've made a few videos over on tiktok about my top surgery journey so far and now that it's getting even closer I'm hoping to keep it up! Mostly, I want to be an open resource for folks to ask questions and just learn more about top surgery, the process, how I got here, or anything else you might be wondering.

For now, I won't be sharing my surgery date or my surgeon's information, but I'm more than happy to answer any other questions in the meantime.

I hope everyone is doing well all things considered, and I hope you all stay safe going into the new week 💜

Happy 10 year Anniversary, dearest to my heart!!!!! 💜

It's been 11 years since we met, and time only seems to go faster, now. In what seems like a blink to me, we've already done the unimaginable. Do you remember how far away everything sounded back then? Sometimes when we talk about it, it feels like only days have gone by. But here we are, a decade later, and things I remember only being able to dream about we've made come true.

As always my love, my princess, my dearest, I simply don't have the words for what you, what our time together means to me. but if you'll have me, I will always keep looking for them. and discover everything else in between with you. Thank you for your dances, your laughter, your coffee, the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen, the way you curl around me, your fingers laced in mine. your kindness (unending), your quick runs up the stairs, our walks, your passion, the signs you put up for us. our drives, your sweetness (in everything you touch), the way you love, the twin screams we give to the little guys on our screens. our new adventures, the sunlight on your cheeks, and the golden spark in your eyes. the joy, the joy, the joy of you my darling.

Happy anniversary my love. Ten years has never felt so short, here's to the next, and many, many, many, more beyond, my heart 💙🌹

This is our 9th anniversary together but 2022 is also our 10th anniversary of knowing each other. There aren't words for how much this past decade of knowing you has meant to me, Erin, nor are there any kind of words for how deeply, how profoundly knowing you has changed my life. The moment we met we clasped hands for that picture on the left and simply never stopped. Here, ten years later, we lay in bed with our fingers laced and looking around our new home together so wondrously struck by how any of this has been possible. long nights and longer days of school and work and saving and even shorter days of rest and play in between but all measuring out to be the most beautiful, unbelievable life with you, my love. our walks, your giggle fits, the coffee you make that tastes better than anything we can find, our long and short drives, your smiles, our theorizing, your glow, your thoughtfulness, our pancake breakfasts, our late night everythings, our joyful screaming, our anticipating, your kindness, our planning, our Visions, our silly talks, your hugs (always your hugs). all of our time.
