How I want to be heading into November vs. How I'm actually heading into November.

I want to be taking a trip to Hawaii, grabbing dinner and drinks with friends, or just walking out into public without risking long term health issues or getting others killed. Instead, we get massive fires (that are thankfully much much better, at least in Portland), a pandemic that half the country seems to be ignoring, and a political hellscape.

Please vote, wear a God damn mask, and let's all return to a somewhat normal existence again soon so we can do things we love, and visit loved ones.

There's nothing more that I could possibly say to make it more damning. It has been plain as day for anyone who has been looking. But now it is explicitly clear even to those who aren't. It's shameful, despicable, and I am so ashamed that the rest of the world sees us in this light as well.

I know Biden might not be the candidate for everyone. But we seriously can't take four more years of this shit. No one is overall better off now than they were four years ago, except for the extremely wealthy. That's a problem. Vote accordingly. by @vurukun

Thanks to everyone that wished me a happy birthday! Nice to have so many sweet messages from friends and family, especially during these isolated times.

I spent my day inside (as seen here) trying to be cognizant of the serious situation we're in. I still had a few fun things go on, but in a safe and contained way.

This past year has been the best year of my life, despite everything that's going on. I've lost friends and made more. Learned a lot, and advanced myself in my education and steps towards my goals. I've fought for causes I believe strongly in, and internally as well to improve myself. I'm happy with who I am, and even happier with who I'm working to be. Happy with my relationship and those I get to surround myself with. I feel so incredibly fortunate and grateful for the friends and loved ones in my life.

I know I can be reclusive at times, working and school at the same time was difficult. But that doesn't mean I don't care about you!

If you wanted to honor me or celebrate in anyway, I appreciate the thought! But the best way to do that would be to help others in the community, educate yourself on current issues, or make a difference politically.

-Support Black owned businesses
-Read and watch documentaries on systemic racism
-Call and write politicians and demand accountability for police and the removal of federal officers from Portland
-Protest (safely)
-Donate to causes you believe in
-VOTE!
-Wear a mask
-Take care of yourself

If you take the time to do any of those things it would make me incredibly happy. I hope you'll find that this is how I want to live and be remembered. I want to make a positive impact on the lives of those around me, and my community. I believe in building up others and supporting each other, and we can't do that until we're all treated equally and equitably ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

We need to keep pressure on the police departments, district attorneys, and politicians for some real change and to hold people accountable for their actions! It is not over, this is only just beginning. And no, minor budget cuts and reform (which we've seen unsuccessfully implement a ton in the past) is not good enough. Firing the police that wrongfully kill people is not good enough. These men need to be behind bars for their crimes.

I had the pleasure of being my dear friend, the gorgeous and wickedly smart @infjriley 's plus one to a wedding this last weekend. Proof that two introverts can get out and be social! But seriously, RBF harder than us... Can't be done 🤷‍♂️. We clean up well though and have taste, so it's fine.
