I miss you everyday, Jack. You were like a big brother to me. I remember last year at 3 AM I was in Germany and I couldn’t sleep because I suddenly had all these ideas on what I could do as one single human to make this world better. And instead of mocking me for all my silly ideas, you lifted me up and explored them with me. We had so many dreams and visions on how we could help the world. And I imagined we’d one day drink champagne with one another as the children of this Earth ran around to a more peaceful ground. I won’t lie, this world is so much harder without you in it. You always encouraged me to be my most authentic and unapologetic self, and with this small body of mine, that’s what I try to do. I speak my truth and I try my best to treat others kindly. Honestly, I was just trying to be more like you. I know you’re probably tired of me crying for you, but I’m going to continue crying anyway because that’s what you get. I’m going to dream big enough for the both of us. I love you so much, Jack. Forever and ever. by @vuwuwill

It feels surreal when as you work on a song, what it means to you changes throughout the process. Originally, I had no idea of Nick’s passing when I was recording. The night I had finished the first mix of this cover was the same night he had left us, and I was devastated when I found out the following day. I felt like I missed out on so much. I thought we had all the time in the world to make memories together. We never got to bake together like we said we would. I didn’t even know Nick played the violin until Timmy showed videos of their duet in Google Photos. And I was heartbroken we didn’t have a chance to make music together. So I went back into my home studio and added recordings of Nick’s and Timmy’s violins into the song, along with more choral vocals. Luckily enough, A minor and D minor are only one note apart. Even though you’re gone, I’ll still figure out a way to make music with you, Nick. And I hope these sounds make it to heaven and God will show you them. You were such a sweet man, a light to anyone who was lucky enough to know you. Rest well and don’t forget to keep on practicing. When we meet again, we’ll jam it out and make all the delicious treats for our friends. by @vuwuwill

It wouldn’t surprise me if, at that moment, we became the happiest people in the world 🌎 ❤️.

Coachella, you were everything I could have asked for and more. I experienced so much love, I cried more times I could count. Thank you to all my friends who changed my life in so many meaningful ways. You have no idea what you’ve done to me. I love you all and I’ll see you soon 💓. by @vuwuwill
