Being a prep cook taught me a lot about ego and processes. There is an order of operation and it is importante to mind the details. I always saw cooking as a way of giving back. I started cooking when I was nine to help out around the house while my mom was at night school. A child of immigrants I read my mother’s paperwork to her etc. i wanted to cook to thank my mother. It was always satisfying to me to see her enjoy a meal after all the sacrifices she made for us. It is the least I can do. Cooking taught me how to imbue my art with my love. As it’s all I have to give at times. I feel so deeply it pains me not to express my gratitude enough. Then I turn to the pen and the pan. by @vverygriselda

Life is a car na val. clown around some more. Made some party hats @furtherstudiosnyc had to go out and show it off, styled some @further.universe pieces! How sick is this striped leather corset micro mini! Gasp! It’s so good. Obsessed… red tights… cuz clown but high fashion…@clowncultclowncult had fun listening to di @taradikhof what a fun time! This is why I love New York…. What a wonderful day. 🤡🐓👑good times with even better people! P.S. getting dressed is always my favorite part! First time doing clown makeup on myself loved it.
