We did it my boy, I’m really proud of my boy Nipsey
We passed our PDC. it was both our first times stepping out onto a trial field and I can definitely say I’m even more motivated now to prepare for my next trial, than ever before.

We got 60/65 on our obedience and 76.5/90 on our protection piece. I’m really happy with his obedience and protection routine, but obviously everything wasn’t perfect so I took a lot of notes and lessons on what to be working on with his protection work moving forward. Overall it was a great learning experience and I’m grateful for everything.

Thanks to @gk9gearofficial and all the decoys and helpers over there, for helping us prepare.

Thank you to @frostbitewdc for throwing a great trial.

My overall goal has always been to show how great this breed really is and Nipsey is an amazing representation of the breed. I feel as a community we should be doing more with these dogs to show how amazing this breed truly is. taken in Dunrobin by @vvs_kennels

Proofing our focus heel, making sure he’s staying sharp and ignoring distractions. You wanna keep training fun, but you still have to challenge the dog at the same time, the same thing over and over again gets boring.

Reward timing and location are so important. Be carful to not reward the wrongs things, be picky and diligent because when you step on that trial field with no equipment you’ll wish you were. taken in Whitby, Ontario by @vvs_kennels
