So yeah.The Pickup sold. And fast. Big thanks to @grautogallery ! While it was up for sale, I fell in love with this absolute unit of a spaceship. Worked a deal and road tripped to a small dealership in Ohio with my son. Drove through a wind farm (crazy cool) and stopped at an awesome brewery in Urbana OH for lunch. The tech in this ride is nuts! Too much for my old ass. Delighted nonetheless. Mild mods coming soon. See my comment re: last slide yikes! 2023 VW Arteon SEL Premium 4Motion 24k miles.

Finally got around to replacing the ignition key switch in the #watermelon #prtskarThanks to @ispwest Easier than I thought. Getting the horn right was the tough part. Anyway, long story short,Two sheets to the wind one night and let my son drive home (DD), and his fat knee broke the key off. No more fiddling with a key that falls out and random horn honks. Lol. by @vwrabid

Currently idles rough when hot (vacuum leak,egr?) Price will become more firm if/when addressed) 1995 Toyota Pickup, Japanese built, 4x4. 22RE, Automatic, Tennessee truck! Trans sorted! New TPS sensor and throttle body complete. It was time for a treat. The original build sheet had optional mudflaps on it when sold, but were missing when I purchased it. Oem straight from Japan. Looking pretty straight now. A front grill refresh and orange corner light delete up next. Then, on to suspension updates.

Hey, hey! Its been a minute. My new "daily".... more like trans shop daily. She spent months (9) in a shop that couldn't fix it. No charge, no prob. I drove the Watermelon happily for the summer. New trans guy fixed it up and just recently it's searching and slipping for 3rd gear again. Looks like I'll be daily driving the T3 again. Can't complain there. The truck is so clean I can't give up on it. A rough warm idle is just another issue. "Get a 30 yr old truck! It'll be rad." They said. Oh wait. Now that the GTI is off to big and better things... Mr. Tigz needs some hella flush wheels to match the MK7 R low low springs on it. Wifey say no! Suggestions? Wheels and marriage advice welcome. Lol. by @vwrabid
